This study aims to assess organizational resilience within medical alliances using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method, identify key factors, and improve their performance. It developed a model of organizational resilience factors for medical alliances, including 5 first-level sub-criteria, 15 second-level sub-criteria, and 43 third-level sub-criteria based on literature reviews and expert assessments. Nineteen experts from universities, health commissions, centers for disease control and preventions, and hospitals, including both management and technical specialists, were invited.

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection remains a significant global public health issue, and rapid detection of HBV DNA is crucial for disease prevention and control. However, traditional methods for HBV DNA detection are limited by their reliance on precise instruments and single readout, which can hardly meet the requirements of on-site detection. In this study, the Mg-enhanced trans-cleavage activity of clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats/associated protein 12a (CRISPR/Cas12a) is reported and coupled with loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) and Au@Pt nanoparticles as a signaling reporter for on-site detection of HBV DNA.

The objective of the current study was to evaluate the trend and risk factors of antenatal depression (AD) among Chinese women in the third trimester of pregnancy, taking into account the impact of multiple fertility policy adjustments and economic development in China. A repeated cross-sectional study design was used. A total of 3404 pregnant women at 30-42 weeks' gestation were recruited from the two largest maternity hospitals in Zhejiang Province, China, between 2016 and 2021.

Objectives: To evaluate temporal trends and associations between social support and antenatal depression among women in late pregnancy.

Study Design: A repeated cross-sectional design was used. A total of 3404 pregnant women at their 30-42 weeks of pregnancy were recruited from the two largest maternity hospitals in Zhejiang Province, China between 2016 and 2021.

Background: The responsiveness of community health centers can reflect the soft capacity of medical institutions and is related to the improvement of health outcome indicators. This study is aimed at assessing the level and distribution of community health centers' responsiveness and its associated factors among outpatients under the health-oriented integrated healthcare system in China.

Methods: A total of 634 outpatients were recruited from six community health centers in Zhejiang Province, China, in July 2022.

Objective: We aimed to investigate the association and diagnostic value of monocyte distribution width (MDW) for chronic hepatitis B (CHB), liver cirrhosis (LC), and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

Methods: MDW levels were measured in 483 individuals (103 CHB, 77 LC, 153 HCC, and 150 controls). MDW was detected using UniCel Dx900 for specific cell volume parameters and the distribution of cell volumes.

Background: To enhance the sensitivity of plasma methylated Septin9 gene (mSEPT9) detection in colorectal cancer (CRC) screening, we developed a microfluidic chip-based digital PCR (dPCR) method suitable for low-concentration samples, aiming to apply it for mSEPT9 detection in CRC diagnosis.

Methods: Our microfluidic chip-based dPCR method utilized specific primers and probes with locked nucleic acids (LNAs) modifications for mSEPT9 detection. We evaluated its performance, including detection limit, specificity, and linear range, comparing it with a commercial qPCR reagent kit using the same samples (95 CRC, 23 non-CRC).

Background & Aims: Functional cure is achieved by a limited number of patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) after nucleotide analogue(s) and interferon treatment. It is urgent to develop therapies that can help a larger proportion of patients achieve functional cure. The present study was designed to explore the anti-hepatitis B virus (HBV) potency of interleukin-6 family cytokines and to characterize the underlying mechanisms of the cytokine displaying the highest anti-HBV potency.

Global warming is increasing the frequency and duration of heat waves, which is defined as when air temperature exceeds a threshold for more than specific consecutive days. Ecosystem around the globe will be impaired by heat waves just like the exposures to dangerously high temperatures as a public health threat to human. However, the knowledge of the response of lake and reservoir ecosystem to heat waves is largely unknown although it has been argued that climate warming may increase the incidence of harmful algal blooms.

The Yangtze River Delta (YRD) has experienced rapid urbanization and dramatic economic development since 1978 and the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration (YRDUA) has been one of the three largest urban agglomerations in China. We present evidence of a significant urban heat island (UHI) effect on climate warming based on an analysis of the impacts of the urbanization rate, urban population, and land use changes on the warming rate of the daily average, minimal (nighttime) and maximal (daytime) air temperature in the YRDUA using 41 meteorological stations observation data. The effect of the UHI on climate warming shows a large spatial variability.
