Cadherin 17 (CDH17) is found to be abnormally expressed in colorectal cancer (CRC) and linked to a prognosis. Its consistent presence in both primary and metastatic CRC positions it as a promising biomarker. This study aims to develop CDH17-targeted immuno-positron emission tomography (immunoPET) probes and evaluate their potential for diagnosing CRC.

In this study, we investigated the effect of magnetic field (MF)-coupled magnetic carbon dots (N-CD/FeO) as a selective pressure on the structure of mixed microbial communities in an intermittent pulsating fluidized-bed bioelectrochemical reactor. Under a moderate magnetic field (15 mT), N-CD/FeO were effectively adsorbed onto microbial cells and subsequently aggregated, significantly enhancing electron transfer within the community.

Bone metastasis, which is associated with adverse outcomes, is a serious health concern for renal cell carcinoma (RCC) patients, especially considering the limited therapeutic options. In this study, we investigated the expression profiling of circRNAs in five primary RCC samples and RCC-bone metastases (Bone Met) using high-throughput screening and identified an upregulated circRNA in Bone Met (hsa_circ_0016459, circKCNK2). Notably, overexpression of circKCNK2 could promote osteoclast differentiation and accelerate the destruction of osteolytic bone metastasis by stimulating IL-11 secretion.

Here, we identify ELD1, a CCHC-type zinc finger protein that is essential for rice embryo survival. Notably, partial loss of ELD1 function results in early flowering under long-day conditions.

This study investigated CD70 expression patterns in NPC specimens and evaluated the diagnostic potential of CD70-targeted [F]RCCB6 immuno-PET/CT in patients with NPC. CD70 expression was analyzed in 80 archived NPC specimens and correlated with clinical and pathologic features.

Accurately determining the Hansen solubility parameters (HSPs) of fuel cell ionomers is crucial for optimizing the dispersion and dispersive state of the ionomer in fuel cell catalyst inks. This directly impacts the structure and coating process of the catalyst layer in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). The Hansen solubility parameters (HSPs) of the Nafion ionomer were calculated by the Hansen solubility parameter software (HSPiP), inverse gas chromatography (IGC), and group contribution methods.

Here, we explore the possible influence of social interactions (retweet network) on individual's opinion shift related to vaccinations based on large-scale Twitter data in Japan. We use an opinion score which calculates the fraction of pro-, neutral and anti-vaccine tweets to measure the dynamic changes of individual opinions, and identify statistically significant communities based on retweet network.

ABDB6 was prepared by fusing the albumin-binding domain ABD035 with the CD70-targeting single-domain antibody RCCB6, which we previously reported. The resulting ABDB6 was then conjugated to the bifunctional chelator -SCN-NOTA and labeled with Cu to produce [Cu]Cu-NOTA-ABDB6.

To gain a more comprehensive understanding of the symptoms of depression, anxiety, and sleep disturbance in patients with OSA, the current study utilized network analysis to examine the interconnections among these symptoms.
Methods: Depressive and anxiety symptoms were evaluated using the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), and sleep disturbance symptoms were evaluated using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI).

Background: Inflammatory markers are considered reliable indicators for predicting adverse outcomes of cardiovascular disease. However, the prognostic significance of composite inflammatory indicators such as the systemic immune-inflammation index (SII), systemic inflammation response index (SIRI), and inflammatory prognosis index (IPI), in predicting mortality among heart failure (HF) patients remains unknown.
Methods: We analyzed data from 1981 patients with HF.
The clinical diagnosis of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is constantly evolving. Diagnostic imaging of RCC relying on enhanced computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is commonly used for renal mass characterization and assessment of tumour thrombosis, whereas pathology is the gold standard for establishing diagnosis. However, molecular imaging is rapidly improving the clinical management of RCC, particularly clear-cell RCC.

The diagnosis and surveillance of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) remains a clinical challenge. The high and specific expression of the cluster of differentiation 70 (CD70) in ccRCC makes it a potential diagnostic and therapeutic target. We detected and analyzed CD70 expression in various renal cell carcinomas (RCCs) and normal kidneys using immunohistochemical staining.

However, the role of PFKFB3 in regulating ERα expression and the underlying mechanism remains unclear.

Purpose: The cluster of differentiation (CD70) is a potential biomarker of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). This study aims to develop CD70-targeted immuno-positron emission tomography/computed tomography (immunoPET/CT) imaging tracers and explore the diagnostic value in preclinical studies and the potential value in detecting metastases in ccRCC patients.
Methods: Four novel CD70-specific single-domain antibodies (sdAbs) were produced and labelled with F by the aluminium fluoride restrained complexing agent (AlF-RESCA) method to develop radiotracers.

Purpose: The high expression of the transmembrane glycoprotein trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (Trop2) was strongly associated with the progression of solid tumors, including pancreatic and gastric cancers. Our study aimed to construct Trop2-specific immuno-positron emission tomography (immunoPET) probes and assess the diagnostic abilities in preclinical pancreatic and gastric cancer models.
Methods: The expression of Trop2 in pancreatic cancer was determined by single-cell sequencing and immunohistochemistry on tissue microarray (TMA).

Purpose: The glycolytic enzyme fructose 1,6-bisphosphate aldolase B (ALDOB) is aberrantly expressed and impacts the prognosis in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Hepatic ALDOB loss leads to paradoxical upregulation of glucose metabolism, favoring hepatocellular carcinogenesis. Nevertheless, the relationship between ALDOB expression and F-fluorodeoxyglucose (F-FDG) uptake, and their effects on HCC prognosis remain unclear.
