The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of tyrosine on behavior and ruminal meta-taxonomic profile of Altay sheep. Twelve rams with the lowest behavioral responses to humans and twelve rams with the highest behavioral responses were sorted into calm and nervous groups, respectively. Following the 2 × 2 factorial design, the rams from each group were equally assigned two treatments of a basal diet and a diet with an extra 4 g of tyrosine for 30 d.

AgNPs were synthesized in a study by an environmentally friendly and cost-effective method where an aqueous extract of Artemisia lerchiana was used as a bioreducing and stabilizing agent. To characterize the synthesized nanoparticles, a conjunction of analytical methods was employed, such as UV-Visible spectrophotometry, Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and atomic force microscopy (AFM).

This study evaluated the impact of varying dietary protein levels on gut archaeal composition, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) genes, virulence factors, and functional capacities in sheep. Eighteen ewes (Yunnan semi-fine wool breed, uniparous, 2 years old, and averaging 50 ± 2 kg body weight) were randomly assigned to diets containing an 8.

Natural river sand was partially replaced with the presoaked pumice lightweight aggregates (LWAs) at two different levels, 30% and 60% by volume, and 50% of the cement was replaced with slag to enhance sustainability. Furthermore, 2% polyethylene (PE) fibers were used to improve the mechanical characteristics and 1% methylcellulose (MC) was used to increase the rheological stability.

Methods: In total, 800 one-day-old mixed-sex broilers (Arbor Acres) were weighed and allocated to one of the four dietary treatments in a completely randomized design, with eight replicates and 25 birds each per replicate. The treatments were as follows: (1) T, control diet (without protease supplementation and 3% PBM); (2) T, control diet supplemented with acidic protease at 100 g/ton (50,000 U/g); (3) T, control diet supplemented with alkaline protease at 200 g/ton (25,000 U/g); (4) T, control diet supplemented with neutral protease at 200 g/ton (25,000 U/g).

Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) is a transboundary disease affecting large ruminants in different regions of the world including Asia, Europe and Africa. The current study investigated the seroprevalence and associated risk factors of LSD Virus (LSDV) in large ruminants of the Potohar region, Pakistan. For this purpose, a total of 800 blood samples were collected from large ruminants of the Potohar region including Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum and Chakwal from October-2022 to September-2023.

However, in current study, rats with experimentally generated atherosclerosis (EA) are used to examine the effects of prolonged cobalt nitrate exposure on oxidative stress and hematological markers. An atherogenic diet, methylprednisolone, alcohol, and mercazolil were all used in a polyetiological method to imitate atherosclerosis.

In the United States, diazepam nasal spray is an approved ISM for patients ≥2 years of age. The primary objective was to assess diazepam nasal spray pharmacokinetics (PK) in patients 2-5 years of age; safety and tolerability were secondary objectives.

Background: Effective alveolar and jaw bone regeneration remains a clinical challenge, and the added value of incorporating human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs) or stem cells from exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED) into scaffolds over traditional cell-free approaches has not been systematically evaluated in vivo, limiting evidence-based advancements in regenerative dental therapies. This review aimed to evaluate the outcomes of human dental pulp stem cells in conjunction with scaffolds for the regeneration of alveolar and jaw bone.
Materials And Methods: This systematic review followed PRISMA guidelines and used the PICO framework.
Objective: This single-blinded, randomised, prospective study was carried out to investigate the effectiveness of a combination drug regimen including pregabalin and duloxetine as adjuncts to naproxen in pain management of patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA).
Methods: One hundred and five patients were inducted into the study following the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Using simple randomisation, patients were allocated into group A (naproxen only), group B (naproxen + duloxetine), and group C (naproxen + pregabalin).
The dependence of rural communities on salt-tolerant medicinal plants provides practical evidence of their utilization in healthcare systems in Salt ranges. Ethnomedicinal data were collected and documented by interrogating 138 local people and 13 traditional health practitioners using a visual appraisal approach, semi-structured interviews, rapid rural appraisal methods, and open-ended questionnaires, separately for each species and interviewee, in different localities of the Salt Range. Data was scrutinized quantitatively utilizing multiple quantitative indices, including frequency citation, use value (UV), informant consensus factor (ICF), and relative frequency of citation (RFC).
