Congenital penile curvature is a rare condition identified by an abnormal penile curvature present from birth. Surgical intervention is currently the most effective treatment and is generally deferred until after puberty; however, early correction is recommended by some due to its impact on psychosexual development. This systematic review aims to evaluate the literature on surgical techniques for congenital penile curvature correction, focusing on their efficacy, safety, and patient-reported outcomes.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate choroidal and retinal vascular features in patients taking PDE5is by measuring dynamic vascular alterations and neurostructural features of the retina before and after oral tadalafil administration.
Methods: The current clinical research involved 22 patients treated with tadalafil 20 mg on alternate days (OAD) after nerve-sparing robotic radical prostatectomy (NS-RARP) for prostate cancer. Patients underwent SD-OCT to assess ganglion cell complex (GCC), retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL), and subfoveal choroidal thickness (SFCT), as well as OCTA to assess superficial capillary plexus (SCP), deep capillary plexus (DCP), choriocapillaris (CC), foveal avascular zone (FAZ), and radial peripapillary capillary thickness (RPC).

Objective: To evaluate the telemedicine information published on the most popular social media platforms, during the second year of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods: We queried the BuzzSumo tool to identify related telemedicine article links that were shared most on social media, from February 2021 to February 2022. The PEMAT-P was used for the quality assessment of the most shared links.
Background: It is unknown whether regional differences in patient, tumor, and treatment characteristics of upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) patients exist and may potentially result in regional overall mortality (OM) differences. We tested for inter-regional differences, according to Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) registries.
Methods: Using SEER database 2000 to 2016, patient (age, sex, race/ethnicity), tumor (location, grade) and treatment (nephroureterectomy, systemic therapy [ST]) characteristics of UTUC patients of all-stages were tabulated and graphically depicted in a stage-specific fashion (TNM vs.

Background: Peyronie's disease (PD) represents a challenging urological disease, due to not optimal post-operative surgical outcomes. We aim to retrospectively evaluate if vacuum erection device (VED) treatment before penile curvature surgery is able to improve post-operative surgical outcomes.
Methods: All enrolled patients were assigned to the following groups: (a) the treatment group: VED treatment (three times per week) starting 3 months before surgery and (three times per week) one month after surgery; and (b) the control group: VED treatment (three times per week) one month after surgery.

We present the first case of a patient born with congenital fusiform megalourethra who underwent the successful placement of an inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP) and mesh phalloplasty due to primary erectile dysfunction (ED). After an extensive psychosexual assessment and a preoperative MRI scan, an IPP was successfully implanted. The procedure was carried out through a penoscrotal approach, which offered excellent exposure to the crura and the proximal ends of the corpora cavernosa.

Objective: To evaluate the impact on erectile and ejaculatory function following transrectal ultrasound-guided biopsies of the prostate (TRUS-Bx) in sexually active men.
Methods: Monocentric prospective study from May 2021 to January 2022 of consecutive patients with suspected prostate cancer [elevated prostate specific antigen (PSA) level and/or abnormal digital rectal examination] undergoing TRUS-Bx. The 15-item version of the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF-15), Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool (PDET) and short form of Male Sexual Health Questionnaire (MSHQ-EjD Short Form) were assessed before, one and three months after TRUS-Bx.
Extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) has been purposed for the management of chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) with encouraging results. Phytotherapeutic compounds have been used in everyday clinical practice for patients with CP/CPSS due to their anti-inflammatory properties. The present study aimed to investigate the effects of ESWT in association with the use of bromelain and escin extracts in patients with CP/CPSS.
