This paper presents an enhanced approach to Minimum Variance Unbiased (MVU) velocity estimation in Heterogeneous-Networks (HetNets) by addressing horizontal and vertical handoffs. In HetNets, the abundance of base stations (BSs) results in frequent unnecessary handoffs and service disruptions for mobile users, posing challenges for mobility management. Accurate velocity estimation is crucial for effective mobility management.

When combined with guided tissue regeneration (GTR), autogenous cortical bone grafting has shown potential for accelerating the regeneration of periodontal tissue.
Materials And Methods: This randomized controlled clinical study included 30 individuals with intraosseous periodontal abnormalities that were verified by radiography and clinical examination and were between the ages of 25 and 50 years.
Chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy has become a milestone in the management of B cell lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Yet, the traditional method-dependent on ex vivo manipulation, amplification, and reinfusion of autologous T cells-is high-cost, low-scalability, and severely immune-related toxicity. Here, we report a new nano-immunoengineering platform that allows in vivo production of chimeric antigen receptor T cells through the use of functionalized nanoparticles carrying clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR) and CRISPR-associated protein 9 (Cas9) gene editing elements.

Methods: A state-representative sample of fathers of stillborn babies and babies who died within neonatal period (newborn deaths) born between July 2020 and June 2021 were interviewed. They reported on socio-demography, supportive experience and coping mechanism post birth/death of their baby, and their opinion on if their baby could have been saved.
Selecting alternatives wisely is essential in any multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) process, and it requires the participation of multiple experts. Initial decision data and the contributing experts' reliability affect the preciseness of the decision outcomes. However, no expert possesses exhaustive knowledge, and their estimations may exhibit varying preferences.

Materials And Methods: A cohort of 10 patients with head-and-neck cancer was recreated for RA, which was earlier treated with IMRT techniques. Dosimetric parameters evaluated or planning target volume (PTV) included monitor units (MUs), beam on time (BoT), gamma passing rate (GP), and various normal tissue dose indices such as V, V, V, V, and gradient indices (gradient index [GI], low GI [LGI], high GI).
Heat stress significantly affects livestock production, particularly in tropical regions where temperatures often exceed animals' comfort zones. This study investigates the molecular mechanisms of heat stress tolerance in Jamunapari goats (Capra hircus) through transcriptomic analysis, gene co-expression network construction, and hub gene identification. Female goats (1-2 years old) were monitored during high Thermal Humidity Index (THI) in June and normal THI in March.

Women's SHGs have shown members' health improvements by promoting awareness, practices and access to services. This study investigates whether Health & Nutrition (HN) interventions delivered by JEEViKA Technical Support Program (JTSP) via SHG platforms could improve maternal and newborn health and nutritional behaviors in rural Bihar.

For cryopreserved fibroblasts, a favourable ECM environment can help restore their natural morphology and function more rapidly, minimizing post-thaw stress responses.
Methods And Results: This study explored the functional responses of cryopreserved enriched caprine adult dermal fibroblast (cadFibroblast) cells to structural [collagen-IV and rat tail collagen (RTC)] and adhesion ECM proteins (laminin, fibronectin, and vitronectin) under in vitro culture conditions.
Always, the environment in which humans live needs to be saved from various calamities, and one such calamity is usage of petroleum-based products. Petroleum-based products are derived from various synthetic processes that adversely affect the environment. It may not reflect immediately, but it affects in the near future.

This stressor not only reduces productivity but also undermines economic viability. This study aimed to delve into the molecular mechanisms underlying heat stress tolerance in goats by conducting a comprehensive transcriptome analysis of heat-tolerant (HT, n = 4) and heat-susceptible (HS, n = 6) Jamunapari goats.

This study investigates the molecular mechanisms of pulmonary adaptation to diverse environments by analyzing gene expression profiles of lung tissues through RNA sequencing.
Methods And Results: Four biological replicates of lung tissue from each breed were utilized to generate the transcriptomic data.
Background: Goat milk is gaining popularity as a superior alternative to bovine milk due to its closer resemblance to human milk. Understanding the molecular processes underlying lactation is crucial for improving milk quality and production in goats. However, the genetic mechanisms governing lactation in goats, particularly in indigenous breeds like the Jakhrana, remain largely unexplored.

Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is a crucial component in various industries, including pharmaceuticals, culinary, and cosmetics. The growing demand for MCC has spurred research into extraction methods. This study focused on extracting MCC from Ficus benghalensis using acid hydrolysis to convert the alpha-cellulose content of its leaves into MCC.

As a result of their biocompatibility and biodegradability, leaf plasticizers (CLP) serve as viable alternatives to chemical plasticizers. First time, the natural plasticizers from the Calotropis leaves were extracted for this study using a suitable chemical approach that was also environmentally friendly.

Epidemics caused by begomoviruses have even spread in regions and crops that were previously free from these viruses. The most seriously affected crops include cassava; cotton; grain legumes; and cucurbitaceous, malvaceous, and solanaceous vegetables.

However, low cloning efficiency, a low live birth rate and the abnormally high incidence of abnormalities in the offspring born are attributed to incomplete or aberrant nuclear reprogramming. In SCNT embryos, the aberrant expression pattern of the genes throughout embryonic development is responsible for the incomplete nuclear reprogramming.
