Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) has been widely used in rehabilitation, yet its effectiveness compared to conventional physical therapy (PT) following elbow contracture release remains unclear. This retrospective cohort study evaluated the effectiveness of home-based immersive CPM training versus manual PT in promoting functional recovery of the elbow. Clinical records of 40 patients with moderate to severe elbow osteoarthritis who underwent standardized arthroscopic release between 2020 and 2022 were reviewed.

Background: Detection of mosaicism has always been difficult in prenatal diagnosis, which is to assess the value of karyotyping combined with three different molecular genetic tests for prenatal diagnosis. Retrospective review of chromosomal mosaicism (CM) was conducted in 32,967 pregnant women from January 2015 to December 2022.

Methods: A total of 148 fetuses diagnosed with chromosomal mosaicism by karyotyping with copy number variant sequencing (CNV-seq)/ chromosomal microarray analysis (CMA) and quantitative fluorescent polymerase chain reaction (QF-PCR) were selected, and the results from three the methods were compared and further analyzed.

Objective: To retrospectively analyze the results of second-trimester serological prenatal screening and explore the factors which may influence the false-positive rate (FPR).

Methods: From January 2013 to December 2022, false-positive samples with follow-up outcomes from 632,825 second-trimester serological prenatal screening samples tested at Sichuan Provincial Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital were selected as the study group, while true-negative samples were 1 : 1 matched as the control group by propensity-score matching (PSM). Univariate and binary logistic regression models were used to analyze the influencing factors.

Objective: To carry out G-banded chromosomal karyotyping and chromosomal microarray analysis (CMA) for a fetus featuring multiple malformations.

Methods: The fetus was found to have increased nuchal thickness, generalized edema, asymmetric lower limbs, tetralogy of Fallot, nasal bone anomaly and cleft palate. Following amniocentesis, G-band karyotyping and CMA were carried out.

Background: There is limited data on the clinical outcome of patients with pandemic H1N1 (pH1N1) pneumonia who received oseltamivir treatment, especially when the treatment was administered more than 48 hours after symptom onset.

Methods: During the pandemic in 2009, a cohort of pH1N1 influenza pneumonia was built in China, and their clinical information was collected systematically, and analyzed with Cox models.

Results: 920 adults and 541 children with pneumonia who didn't receive corticosteroids were analyzed.
