Vibrio vulnificus infections caused by aquatic product-related injuries pose severe clinical challenges due to their rapid progression and high morbidity and mortality. Early diagnosis and timely intervention are critical to improving patient outcomes, yet standardized diagnostic and treatment protocols remain limited. We conducted a retrospective descriptive case series of 14 patients with confirmed V vulnificus infection admitted between 2020 and 2023.

The purpose of this study was to: (i) summarise the best evidence for nutrition management in patients with chronic wounds by performing a systematic literature search and rigorous evaluation, and (ii) construct a nutrition management guidance flowchart for these patients based on best evidence. We reported the best evidence summary for nutrition management in patients with chronic wounds by following the Evidence Summary Reporting Standard of Fudan University Evidence-Based Care Center.

This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to determine whether WeChat helped improve PICC-related complications, self-care ability, PICC maintenance dependency in that the behavior of a patient is in compliance with a doctor's order or a will, knowledge mastery, and satisfaction among patients with a PICC. The PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, China Biology Medicine, China national Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, Wiper, and Baidu Scholar databases were searched to identify related reports that were published up to April 2018.

The obtained products are nano-sized with square corners and high crystallinity. The InO nanocubes possessed high efficiency of electron-hole separation, resulting in high photocatalytic activities for the degradation of tetracycline under both visible light ( > 420 nm) and full-range light irradiation (360-760 nm), the ratios of which are 39.

This paper proposed a morphological component analysis (MCA) method, which is based on sparse representation, to detect the spike wave in electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. It takes the advantage of MCA being able to extract the background waves and the spike waves from the EEG signals, respectively,as the dictionaries and chooses the discrete cosine transform (DCT) and the daubechies order 4 wavelet (db4) transformation as the dictionaries of MCA to detect the spike waves from the epileptic EEG. The experiment results showed that the MCA could detect epileptic spike waves in EEG signals very effectively, and it yielded high selectivity of 89.

Objective: To explore the effects of phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase-protein kinase B (PI3K-AKT) signal pathway on the proliferation, apoptosis and invasiveness of colon cancer cell line SW480 and explore its possible mechanisms.
Methods: SW480 cells were cultured with various concentrations (0, 5, 10, 20 and 40 µmol/L) of LY294002 and methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay was conducted after 24, 48 and 72 hours. SW480 cells were cultured for 24 hours with various concentrations (0, 10, 20 and 40 µmol/L) of LY294002.
