Type 2 diabetes (T2D) is characterized by persistent and unresolved tissue inflammation caused by the infiltration and dysregulation of immune cells. Current therapeutics targeting inflammatory immune cells for T2D remain limited. In this study, we analyzed single cell RNA from metabolic organs in T2D, revealing increased macrophage accumulation and a pathogenic macrophage subpopulation defined as NOD-like receptor (NLR) family pyrin domain-containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammatory and metabolically activated macrophages.

CAR-T cell therapy, as a representative technology in cancer immunotherapy, has demonstrated notable success in the treatment of hematologic malignancies; however, a significant proportion of patients fail to achieve sustained remission. Through the analysis of bone marrow sequencing data prior to CD19 CAR-T cell therapy, we identified cellular adhesion as a pivotal factor influencing clinical outcomes. We developed a model to predict B-ALL treatment efficacy based on the core genes associated with cellular adhesion, which was validated in our clinical cohort.

Reaction intermediates (RI) are key factors that directly determine the efficiency of the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). In this study, a local electric field microenvironment was built in a FeNi and MoNi heterostructure (H-FeNiMo/NMF) to induce the redistribution of hydroxyls and protons on the metal sites during the OER and HER. H-FeNiMo/NMF requires only 270 and 155 mV to reach 100 mA cm in alkaline media for OER and HER, respectively.

p-Dichlorobenzene (p-DCB), a persistent halogenated pollutant with regulatory thresholds of up to 200 mg/kg in industrial soils in China, poses significant environmental and health risks. Current bioremediation strategies are limited by poor microbial tolerance to high p-DCB concentrations (200-1000 mg/kg). Here, we report Cupriavidus sp.

A method for determination of ten kinds of sweeteners in soybean products by multi-plug filtration cleanup (-PFC) combined with ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) was established. The sample was extracted with acetonitrile (containing 1% formic acid), degreased by using -hexane liquid-liquid extraction and purified by solid phase extraction using an -PFC column (Oasis PRiME HLB). The analytes were separated by using a Waters ACQUITY UPLC® BEH C (2.
