Cap color is a critical commercial trait in mushrooms, yet the molecular mechanisms underlying its temperature-induced variation remain poorly understood. This study integrated metabolomic and transcriptomic approaches to identify key metabolites and genes associated with the transition of cap color from white to wine-red under different temperature conditions. Metabolomic analysis identified 1913 metabolites, with flavonoid derivatives such as quercetin-3-O-glucoside and kaempferol-based compounds accumulating preferentially in wine-red mushrooms at high temperatures.

Design: This research analyzed GBD data (1990-2021) on HCV in women aged 15-49, examining ASIR, ASPR, ASMR, and ASDR trends by region and age. APC and Bayesian models predicted future trajectories to guide public health policies.
Objectives: This study investigated the antithrombotic properties of a fibrinolytic enzyme (CFE) purified from the culture supernatant of using a zebrafish thrombosis model.
Methods: A phenylhydrazine-induced thrombosis model was employed to evaluate the in vivo thrombolytic efficacy and mechanisms of CFE.
Results: CFE significantly attenuated thrombogenesis by inhibiting erythrocyte aggregation in the caudal vessels, reducing staining intensity (3.
Tendon cells have been shown to play a critical role during the postnatal growth of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) condyle by transdifferentiating into chondrocytes. Here, we present a protocol for tracking the tendon lineage of Scx; R26R; 2.3Col1a1-GFP mice in vivo.

It has been found that glutamine peptides are a stable substitute for glutamine monomer, and they are increasingly studied in nutrition and physiology due to their functional properties. An extensive search of the literature was conducted in the PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases up to December 2024.

Soybean is one of the most important crops in the world. However, salt stress poses a major challenge to soybean growth and productivity. Therefore, unravelling the complex mechanisms governing salt tolerance in soybean is imperative for molecular breeding of salt-tolerant varieties to improve yield.

A strategy using ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MS) for rapid identification of metabolites from TRQI was proposed by UNIFI informatics platform combined with multiple data processing techniques. Target prediction was then performed based on the original compounds in vivo, and a network between the active compounds and common targets was established using Cytoscape v3.

Objective: To evaluate the injuries of the recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN), superior laryngeal nerve (SLN), and their innervated laryngeal muscles on the non-paralyzed sides in patients with idiopathic vocal cord paralysis (IVCP).
Methods: Eighty-four cases of patients with IVCP were evaluated using stroboscopic laryngoscopy, voice analysis, and laryngeal electromyography(LEMG). Concurrently, twenty-eight cases involving healthy volunteers without vocal cord paralysis were enrolled and examined using LEMG during the same period.

Soil salinization is a widespread hindrance that endangers agricultural production and ecological security. High salt concentrations in saline soils are primarily caused by osmotic stress, ionic toxicity and oxidative stress, which have a negative impact on plant growth and development. In order to withstand salt stress, plants have developed a series of complicated physiological and molecular mechanisms, encompassing adaptive changes in the structure and function of various plant organs, as well as the intricate signal transduction networks enabling plants to survive in high-salinity environments.

We study the capacity fade rate of a flow battery utilizing 2,6-dihydroxyanthraquinone (DHAQ) and its dependence on hydroxide concentration, state of charge, cutoff voltages for the discharge step and for the electrochemical regeneration (oxidation of decomposition compounds back to active species) step, and the period of performing the electrochemical regeneration events. Our observations confirm that the first decomposition product, 2,6-dihydroxyanthrone (DHA), is stable, but after electro-oxidative dimerization, the anthrone dimer decomposes. We identify conditions for which there is little time after dimerization until the dimer is rapidly reoxidized electrochemically to form DHAQ.

Destructive periodontitis destroys alveolar bone and eventually leads to tooth loss. While guided bone regeneration, which is based on creating a physical barrier to hinder the infiltration of epithelial and connective tissues into defect sites, has been widely used for alveolar bone regeneration, its outcomes remain variable. In this work, a multifunctional nanofibrous hollow microsphere (NFHMS) is developed for enhanced alveolar bone regeneration.
