Methods: We analysed a prospective cohort of 443,130 participants from the UK Biobank, with seven biomarkers reflecting the level of functioning in five domains of intrinsic capacity to calculate an overall score (ranging from 0 [better] to +4 [poor]). Associations between intrinsic capacity scores and mortality from any type of cancer (censored as of December 31, 2022) were estimated using Cox proportional hazard models adjusted for multiple potential confounders.

A three-step, one-pot, sequential cascade starting from simple feedstocks to increase complexity toward value-added chiral synthetic building blocks is reported. Granular cell tumour is an uncommon benign lesion of neural lineage, associated with ATP6AP1 and ATP6AP2 inactivating mutations (endosomal pH regulators). In this study, we have addressed this challenge by working at a higher spray chamber temperature (150 °C), which led to a 81-fold increase in TE for A549 human lung carcinoma cells (measured size of ∼20 μm).
