Factors influencing the transition time from psoriasis to psoriatic arthritis: a real-world multicenter analysis.

To identify clinical and demographic predictors associated with the timing of transition from psoriasis (PsO) to psoriatic arthritis (PsA), and to compare the characteristics of patients with concurrent PsO-PsA onset versus those with prolonged transition. A multi-center, observational study was conducted using data from the Turkish League Against Rheumatism (TLAR) network including PsA patients fulfilling CASPAR criteria. Patients were categorized into two groups: Group 1 (concurrent PsO and PsA onset within ± 1 year) and Group 2 (prolonged transition to PsA, > 1 year after PsO).

Objective: Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are among the most common bacterial infections. The misuse of antibiotics is one of the factors contributing to the global increase in antimicrobial resistance (AMR), making the management of UTIs more challenging. Our study aims to evaluate the causative agents of UTIs and the factors influencing resistance, as well as to identify antibiotics that can be used in the outpatient treatment of patients diagnosed with UTIs.

The aim of this study is to examine the correlation between mindfulness and relapse prediction in individuals with substance use disorder. The study was conducted on individuals who were diagnosed with substance use disorders and were receiving at the psychiatry outpatient clinic of a university hospital in Turkey. In the study, 193 individuals with substance use disorders were reached.

PENG block experiences in high-risk hip fracture geriatric patients: Case Series.

We aimed to share our experiences with pericapsular nerve group (PENG) block for perioperative analgesia in proximal femoral nailing for four frail elderly patients. PENG block is a novel technique for postoperative analgesia in hip surgery. Ultrasound-guided PENG block in hip fractures can relieve pain, contribute to intraoperative low-dose spinal anesthesia, and maintain postoperative analgesia.
