Introduction: Primary central nervous system vasculitis (primary CNS vasculitis) is a rare inflammatory disorder that affects small-to-medium-sized cerebral vessels, often leading to recurrent strokes. Background: Lung cancer (LC) is the leading cause of cancer death in Ireland, yet no national screening programme exists. While low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) screening reduces lung cancer mortality by approximately 20% in high-risk populations, its cost-effectiveness in Ireland remains uncertain. Evidence on the economic burden of lung cancer care and the feasibility of screening is needed to support policy decisions.

Extended glove usage is crucial in various occupational settings to safeguard workers and maintain hygiene standards. However, prolonged wear creates an occlusive environment that disrupts normal skin evaporation, leading to temporary overhydration. This reversal of the diffusion gradient facilitates the penetration of residual soaps and alcohol from hand hygiene practices, which can deplete skin moisture and cause irritation.

Background: Post-viral syndromes, including long- and post-COVID, often lead to persistent symptoms such as fatigue and dyspnoea, affecting patients' daily lives and ability to work. The COVI-Care M-V trial examines whether interprofessional, patient-centred teleconsultations, initiated by general practitioners in cooperation with specialists, can help reduce symptom burden and improve care for patients.
Methods: To evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention under routine care conditions, a cluster-randomised controlled trial is being conducted.
