Despite the promise of electrochemical biosensors in amplified nucleic acid diagnostics, existing high-sensitivity platforms often rely on a multilayer surface assembly and cascade amplification confined to the electrode interface. These stepwise strategies suffer from inefficient enzyme activity, poor mass transport, and inconsistent probe orientation, which compromise the amplification efficiency, reproducibility, and practical applicability. To address these limitations, we report a programmable dual-phase electrochemical biosensing system that decouples amplification from signal transduction.

BackgroundChylothorax, the accumulation of triglyceride-rich fluid in the pleural cavity, is a well-recognized complication after surgery for congenital heart disease in children. Treatment protocols and role of surgery are not standardized.ObjectiveThis study aims to evaluate the outcomes of a standardized technique of thoracoscopic ligation of the thoracic duct (TLTD), for the management of persistent chylothorax following pediatric cardiac surgery.

Mammography is a primary method for early screening, and developing deep learning-based computer-aided systems is of great significance. However, current deep learning models typically treat each image as an independent entity for diagnosis, rather than integrating images from multiple views to diagnose the patient. These methods do not fully consider and address the complex interactions between different views, resulting in poor diagnostic performance and interpretability.

The rate of improvement in life expectancy and mortality slowed considerably in a number of high-income countries from the early 2010s, predating the COVID-19 pandemic by almost a decade. Evidence for different countries, including the separate nations of the United Kingdom (e.g.

Objective: To investigate the reliability of lacrimal gland ultrasound (LGUS) in patients with clinically suspected Sjögren's disease (SjD).

Method: Of 41 consecutive patients with clinically suspected SjD, 28 were diagnosed with SjD and 13 were classified as non-SjD. Forty patients were scored for bilateral lacrimal gland (LG) B-mode evaluation; LGs were 'not visible' in one case.
