The Rehabilitation Treatment Specification System (RTSS) provides a framework to decompose complex interventions into components, each defined by its known or hypothesized active ingredients. In addition to its value in planning new interventions and understanding existing ones, we suggest it can be used to help interpret findings of clinical trials and plan next steps in a research program. This paper presents an analysis in which we used the RTSS to retrospectively delineate targets and ingredients of an experimental treatment, Behavioral Activation and Problem-Solving (BA/PS), and then examined the attention control condition for overlapping ingredients that could clarify the control condition's unanticipated effects.

Cardiovascular (CV) diseases continue to cause substantial morbidity and mortality. Risk factors are inadequately controlled, compliance with medication remains suboptimal, and treatments are not sufficient to fully prevent the progression of atherosclerotic CV disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart diseases. An increased understanding of the genetic basis of CV diseases and advances in the technology of therapeutics have led to the development of nucleic acid-based therapies (NATs) for prevention and treatment of CV risk factors and diseases.

Purpose: This study aimed to examine how perceived athlete improvement, perceived barriers to implementation, and selected coaching characteristics are associated with coaches' attitudes toward Unified Sports programs. The investigation focused on understanding the psychological and contextual factors that influence inclusive coaching engagement within a multi-country sample, rather than comparing national differences directly.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 102 coaches involved in Unified Sports programs in five European countries.

Background: Discharge to post-acute care can be an unanticipated and costly surgical outcome. We examined whether discharge to post-acute care can be used as a benchmarking metric in care for older adults.
Study Design: Data from non-DoD (Department of Defense) US hospitals participating in ACS NSQIP between January 1st and December 31st 2023 were eligible for inclusion.
