We report two cases of Elizabethkingia-related infective endocarditis, highlighting key risk factors such as prosthetic valve replacement. These cases underscore the need to consider endocarditis in the setting of persistent or recurrent bacteremia. Diagnosis proved challenging and required multiple imaging modalities, with positron emission tomography (PET) scan providing critical value when echocardiography was non-contributory.

Introduction: The management of cerebral aneurysms in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) faces significant barriers, including limited access to specialized neurosurgical care and equipment and dissipating human resources. Ghana's inaugural experience with cerebral aneurysm clipping, facilitated by the Global Brainsurgery Initiative (GBI), represent an attempt to address these challenges through international collaboration.
Methods: This case series details the outcomes of six patients who underwent cerebral aneurysm clipping procedures at two neurosurgical centers.

Inguinal hernia represents a clinically significant yet underreported complication of robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) for localized prostate cancer, with a notably high incidence within the first postoperative year. Despite its adverse impact on quality of life and potential for severe sequelae, predictive tools for this outcome remain limited. To develop and validate the first machine learning (ML)-based clinical prediction model for inguinal hernia within 1 year after RARP, leveraging explainable artificial intelligence (AI) techniques for clinical interpretability.

Purpose: Evidence-based medicine (EBM), precision medicine and interdisciplinarity are becoming increasingly important in medical education. The purposeful connection between EBM and interdisciplinary work is given in the context of a tumor board, since therapy decisions are discussed here in an interdisciplinary team based on current evidence-based guidelines. To date, there has been little focus on either topic.
