Summary: MOLEonline is an interactive, web-based tool designed to detect and analyse channels (pores and tunnels) within protein structures. The latest version of MOLEonline addresses the limitations of its predecessor by integrating the Mol* viewer for visualisation and offering a streamlined, fully interactive user experience. The new features include colouring tunnels in the 3D viewer based on their physicochemical properties. A 2D representation of the protein structure and calculated tunnels is generated using 2DProts. Users can now store tunnels directly in the mmCIF file format, facilitating sharing via the community-standard FAIR format for structural data. In addition, the ability to store and load computation settings ensures the reproducibility of tunnel computation results. Integration with the ChannelsDB 2.0 database allows users to access precomputed tunnels.
Availability And Implementation: The MOLEonline application is freely available at https://moleonline.cz with no login requirement, its source code is stored at GitHub under the MIT licence at https://github.com/sb-ncbr/moleonline-web, and archived at Figshare at https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.29816174.

Background: Metabolic syndrome (MetS) and sarcopenia are major global public health problems, and their coexistence significantly increases the risk of death. In recent years, this trend has become increasingly prominent in younger populations, posing a major public health challenge. Numerous studies have regarded reduced muscle mass as a reliable indicator for identifying pre-sarcopenia.

Purpose: Cerebral aneurysms are blood-filled bulges that form at weak points in blood vessel walls, and their rupture can lead to life-threatening consequences. Given the high risk associated with these aneurysms, thorough examination and analysis are essential for determining appropriate treatment. While existing tools such as ANEULYSIS and its web-based counterpart WEBANEULYSIS provide interactive means for analyzing simulated aneurysm data, they lack support for collaborative analysis, which is crucial for enhancing interpretation and improving treatment decisions in medical team meetings.

BackgroundA key component of shared decision-making (SDM) is education that is specific to and easily understood by a patient. Delivering complex information through a visual medium such as video is a natural progression.MethodsThis study aims to assess the impact of adding customized video education to traditional surgical consent procedures on patient preparation for breast cancer surgery.

Background: Rhinosinusitis (RS) is a leading reason for antibiotic prescriptions but treatment satisfaction is low. Misdiagnosis may contribute to poor outcomes, as migraine-often underrecognized-can mimic RS symptoms, with studies showing overlap between RS and migraine diagnoses. Our aims were to explore the demographics and clinical features of facial pain or pressure (FPP), its relationship with migraine and RS, and distinguish symptoms between these overlapping conditions.
