Methamphetamine (METH) is one of the most widely abused illicit synthetic drugs globally, necessitating the development of rapid detection technologies. Conventional instrumental analytical methods are costly and cumbersome to perform. Sensors have emerged as a research hotspot, and METH detection sensors can be categorized into six types based on the signal energy form, recognition mode, and detection principles: colorimetric sensors, fluorescent sensors, surface-enhanced Raman sensors, surface plasmon resonance sensors, electrochemical sensors, and electrochemiluminescent sensors. This paper reviews breakthroughs in the design and construction of METH sensors from 2020 to the present, focusing on innovative detection mechanisms, nanomaterial enhancement strategies, and intelligent integration technologies. Additionally, we analyze current challenges and explore future directions, such as the development of wearable devices and artificial intelligence-assisted signal processing, aiming to provide valuable insights for ongoing research in this field.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) remain a leading cause of death, particularly in developing countries, where their incidence continues to rise. Traditional CVD diagnostic methods are often time-consuming and inconvenient, necessitating more efficient alternatives. Rapid and accurate measurement of cardiac biomarkers released into body fluids is critical for early detection, timely intervention, and improved patient outcomes.

Background: In tackle-collision sports, the tackle has the highest incidence, severity, and burden of injury. Head injuries and concussions during the tackle are a major concern within tackle-collision sports. To reduce concussion and head impact risk, evaluating optimal tackle techniques to inform tackle-related prevention strategies has been recommended.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by persistent hyperglycemia with multiple clinical manifestations and complications, such as cardiovascular disease, kidney dysfunction, retinal impairment, and peripheral neuropathy. Continuous and minimally invasive glucose monitoring is essential for effective DM management. Microneedles (MNs)-based sensing platforms offer a promising solution; however, conventional polymeric MNs suffer from limited electrochemical sensitivity due to their insufficient electroactive surface area and inefficient loading of catalytic and enzymatic components.

Bismuth ferrite (BiFeO) is a semiconductor with multiferroic properties, synthesized by the sol-gel method. While static high-pressure studies have advanced our understanding of the phase behavior of BiFeO, the effects of dynamic pressure acoustic shock waves remain unexplored. In this study, BiFeO was subjected to 100 shock pulses with 0.

This study investigated the effects of a low-frequency polarized electric field (LFPEF) on postharvest disease resistance and storage quality of grapes. LFPEF treatment (3 h/d) significantly reduced weight loss, suppressed lesion expansion, and maintained fruit firmness by reinforcing cell wall integrity and enhancing defense-related enzyme activities. Mechanistic analyses indicated that LFPEF activated Ca signaling, promoted calcium accumulation, and upregulated calcium sensor genes, thereby contributing to membrane stabilization.
