Background And Objective: This study aims to analyze the clinical characteristics of anti-GABAR encephalitis in pediatric patients. Due to its rarity and diagnostic challenges in children, we compare clinical features between adult and pediatric cases.
Materials And Methods: Using the key words "anti-GABAR encephalitis, children, autoimmune encephalitis, limbic encephalitis", we conduct a comprehensive literature review of all studies related to anti-GABAR encephalitis published from January 2010 to January 2024.

Objectives: To evaluate whether q-Dixon sequence-based fat fraction (FF) values of the lumbar spine can predict osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture (OVCF) risk in older adult(s) osteoporosis patients.
Materials & Methods: Thirty OVCF patients and 15 osteoporosis patients were enrolled. Areas of interest (ROIs) were manually drawn using the post-processing workstation, and FF values of the patient's L1-L4 vertebrae (except the fractured vertebrae) were measured.

This systematic review examines the potential association between semaglutide, a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, and the development of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). Nine studies were included, consisting of retrospective cohort analyses, case series, and pharmacovigilance reports. Findings across the literature were inconsistent, with some studies reporting an increased risk while others found no significant association.

Introduction: Severe community-acquired pneumonia (SCAP) in immunocompromised patients is often caused by rare atypical pathogens, which are difficult to detect using conventional microbiological tests (CMTs) and can progress to sepsis in severe cases. Metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS), an emerging pathogen detection technique, enables rapid identification of mixed infections and provides valuable guidance for clinical treatment decisions. SCAP-induced sepsis caused by a six-pathogen co-infection has not been previously reported, but interpretation remains a challenge.

Objective: Choline transporter (ChT) immunohistochemistry (IHC) is a new ancillary test that aids in the diagnosis of Hirschsprung disease in newborns and infants. The behavior of this stain in older children (greater than 1 year of age) with chronic constipation, where Hirschsprung disease is clinically unlikely, has not been investigated. The aim of our study was to determine the behavior of ChT IHC in rectal biopsies performed on older children with chronic constipation.
