Hypertension is a clinical condition associated with an increase in cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. In chronic kidney disease (CKD), hypertension is also a driver of faster disease progression. Among these challenges, overlays have a particularly pronounced impact on manufacturing quality. To address this issue, this paper proposes a high-order overlay correction model that employs a two-dimensional fifth-order polynomial to accurately fit and characterize the distribution of overlays.

Objectives: Unstructured data, such as procedure notes, contain valuable medical information that is frequently underutilized due to the labor-intensive nature of data extraction. This study aims to develop a generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) pipeline using an open-source Large Language Model (LLM) with built-in guardrails and a retry mechanism to extract data from unstructured right heart catheterization (RHC) notes while minimizing errors, including hallucinations.
Materials And Methods: A total of 220 RHC notes were randomly selected for pipeline development and 200 for validation from the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Registry.

Purpose: Recent developments in computational pathology have been driven by advances in vision foundation models (VFMs), particularly the Segment Anything Model (SAM). This model facilitates nuclei segmentation through two primary methods: prompt-based zero-shot segmentation and the use of cell-specific SAM models for direct segmentation. These approaches enable effective segmentation across a range of nuclei and cells.

Wafer thickness is a critical parameter in semiconductor manufacturing, influencing production costs, and chip performance. Traditional measurement methods using clamping devices often introduce errors due to uneven positioning or unstable clamping. This study enhances the dual-probe chromatic confocal system by incorporating a diffractive optical element that splits white light into three beams, with spectrometer wave peak counts detecting wafer tilt.
