Purpose: Literature on psychological interventions for people affected by MS highlights the necessity for integrative and flexible approaches. Here, we present a subset of the qualitative findings of a feasibility and acceptability study of an eight-week online group psychological intervention, MyMS-Ally.
Materials And Methods: The study followed Longitudinal Interpretative Phenome-nological Analysis for data collection and analysis. Five participants who took part in one group were interviewed three times; before the intervention, post-intervention and at follow-up (three months). Data were analysed on a case-by-case basis.
Results: Findings revealed idiosyncratic trajectories of change. Participants with invisible disability initially avoided and fought their MS. Post-intervention, they acknowledged their condition as part of themselves and their lives, developing compassion towards their limitations and needs. Participants with visible disability initially adopted a judgemental attitude towards their growing needs and loss of independence, moving to more empowered and accepting positions following the group intervention.
Conclusions: Despite the limitations due to the small sample and lack of diversity in our sample, the qualitative findings presented provide significant insights into change participants experienced. The results highlight the need to consider self-concept and construction of identity when developing and evaluating individualised psychological interventions for people with MS.

Capturing the dynamic changes in patients' internal states as they approach death due to fatal diseases remains a major challenge in understanding individual pathologies and improving end-of-life care. However, existing methods primarily focus on specific test values or organ dysfunction markers, failing to provide a comprehensive view of the evolving internal state preceding death. To address this, we analyzed electronic health record (EHR) data from a single institution, including 8,976 cancer patients and 77 laboratory parameters, by constructing continuous mortality prediction models based on gradient-boosting decision trees and leveraging them for temporal analyses.

Objective: To describe the patterns of broad-spectrum antibiotic use across defined end-of-life intervals in patients with advanced cancer.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This nationwide, population-based, retrospective cohort study used data from the South Korean National Health Insurance Service database to examine broad-spectrum antibiotic use among patients with advanced cancer who died between July 1, 2002, and December 31, 2021.

What effect does evolutionary history have on the recovery of multicellularity? Khey and Travisano (2025) show that multicellularity can be recovered in all populations of their experimentally evolved Saccharomyces cerevisiae. However, the history of these cell lines changed the tempo and mode of adaptation in which these lines recovered multicellularity. These findings uncover further details on how evolutionary histories affect future trajectories and contribute another piece to the puzzle that is the predictability of evolution.
