Purpose: This study evaluates the long-term outcomes of single-fraction, high-gradient partial breast irradiation (BreaStBRT) as a post-operative treatment in patients with early-stage, hormone-positive breast cancer. It aims to assess acute and late treatment-related toxicity, cosmesis, patient-reported quality of life (QoL), and oncologic outcomes.
Materials And Methods: Single-institution, single-arm, phase II prospective trial included post-menopausal women ≥50 years old with early-stage, hormone-positive breast cancer treated with breast-conserving therapy (BCT) followed by BreaStBRT.

Objective: The role of amputation and myoelectric prosthetic fitting for hand function in traumatic pan-brachial plexus injury (pBPI) continues to evolve. This study evaluated the function and activity performance of patients with traumatic pBPI who underwent amputation and prosthetic fitting with a myoelectric prosthesis (MEP) for hand function.
Methods: A retrospective analysis of adult patients who underwent elective amputation after sustaining a pBPI followed by MEP for hand function was performed.

Objective: Inflammation is a key driver of disc herniation, a major cause of back pain and disability. Heterogeneous macrophages infiltrated at disc hernia sites, yet their role in disease pathology and pain remains unclear. This study investigates the role of CX3CR1⁺ macrophages and microglia in local inflammation and pain using transgenic mouse models and surgically induced disc herniation model.

Objective: To determine the role of MRI in the choice of surgical approach in patients in the acute period of ischemic stroke (IS).
Materials And Methods: A single-center, prospective, observational, non-randomized study included 70 patients with non-disabling atherothrombotic left (lMCA) or right (rMCA) middle cerebral artery stroke combined with 50% or more ipsilateral internal carotid artery (ICA) stenosis. All 70 patients were candidates for early carotid revascularization of symptomatic ICA stenosis.
