This large, international dataset contains survey responses from = 12,570 students from 100 universities in 35 countries, collected in 21 languages. We measured anxieties (statistics, mathematics, test, trait, social interaction, performance, creativity, intolerance of uncertainty, and fear of negative evaluation), self-efficacy, persistence, and the cognitive reflection test, and collected demographics, previous mathematics grades, self-reported and official statistics grades, and statistics module details. Data reuse potential is broad, including testing links between anxieties and statistics/mathematics education factors, and examining instruments' psychometric properties across different languages and contexts. Data and metadata are stored on the Open Science Framework website [https://osf.io/mhg94/].

Objectives: To evaluate the predictive role of carotid stiffening, quantified using ultrafast pulse wave velocity (ufPWV), for assessing cardiovascular risk in young populations with no or elevated cardiovascular risk factors (CVRFs).
Materials And Methods: This study enrolled 180 young, apparently healthy individuals who underwent ufPWV measurements. They were classified into three groups: the CVRF-free group (n = 60), comprising current non-smokers with untreated blood pressure < 140/90 mmHg, fasting blood glucose (FBG) < 7.

Background: Existing research fails to address the complex nature of nonspecific chronic lower back pain (cLBP ) despite its detrimental effect on economic, societal, and medical expenditures.
Objectives: We developed a nurse-led, mobile-delivered self-management intervention-Problem-Solving Pain to Enhance Living Well (PROPEL-M)-and evaluated its usability, feasibility, and initial efficacy for South Korean adults with nonspecific cLBP.
Methods: This study was composed of two phases: (a) lab and field usability testing for a gamified mobile device application; and (b) a pilot study employing a one-arm pre-test and post-test design among adults aged 18-60 years with nonspecific cLBP.

Vibro-impact systems exhibit non-smooth characteristics and pose significant challenges for analysis. Non-smooth coordinate transformations are widely recognized for their ability to convert vibro-impact systems into systems with continuous trajectories, thereby enabling the application of some classical methods. This paper introduces an improved non-smooth coordinate transformation method [Su et al.

One important property of any drug product is its stability over time. A key objective in drug stability studies is to estimate the shelf-life of a drug, involving a suitable definition of the true shelf-life and the construction of an appropriate estimate of the true shelf-life. Simultaneous confidence bands (SCBs) for percentiles in linear regression are valuable tools for determining the shelf-life in drug stability studies.

Measurement appropriateness concerns the question of whether the test or survey scale under consideration can provide a valid measure for a specific individual. An aberrant item response pattern would provide internal counterevidence against using the test/scale for this person, whereas a more typical item response pattern would imply a fit of the measure to the person. Traditional approaches, including the popular Lz person fit statistic, are hampered by their two-stage estimation procedure and the fact that the fit for the person is determined based on the model calibrated on data that include the misfitting persons.
