Background: Brainstem cavernous malformations (BSCMs) are rare yet high-risk vascular lesions with a complex clinical course due to their eloquent location. Optimal treatment remains a topic of debate. This review aims to evaluate the outcomes of different management strategies for BSCMs, with a focus on rebleeding, functional recovery, and mortality.

Purpose: The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted healthcare services globally, necessitating innovative care delivery models for non-communicable diseases. Remote healthcare pathways, including telehealth with pharmacy at home (PAH) and deferred care (DC), emerged as potential solutions for managing stable hypertension (HT) and diabetes mellitus (DM) patients. This study aims to estimate the budget impact of implementing PAH and DC compared to usual care (UC) for HT and DM patients in Thai tertiary care hospitals from the government perspective.

Purpose: The analgesic mechanisms and neurophysiological effects of spinal cord stimulation (SCS) and dorsal root ganglion stimulation (DRGS) are poorly understood. In this pilot repeated-measures study, we used quantitative sensory testing (QST) and self-reported questionnaires to investigate the effects of these therapies in chronic pain patients from pre-implantation up to one-year post-implantation. Several studies have reported stimulation-induced effects on QST, potentially clarifying how neurostimulation affects the nervous system, which is poorly understood.

Objective: Statistics is fundamental in implant dentistry research, playing a crucial role in study design, data analysis, and interpretation of findings. This editorial, authored by members of the Statistical Advisory Board of Clinical Oral Implants Research, aims to highlight common statistical pitfalls encountered in submitted manuscripts and provide practical recommendations to enhance the quality of statistical reporting.
Materials And Methods: In this editorial, study design considerations, sample size calculation, appropriate selection of statistical tests, multiplicity issues, handling hierarchical data structures, and best practices for data presentation are discussed.

We have had a long-standing interest in developing organic prodrugs for controlled delivery of CO for various therapeutic applications. Based on an earlier approach of taking advantage of a cheletropic extrusion reaction of norbornadienone to release CO, a new structural scaffold of CO prodrugs has been designed using an adamantane moiety instead of aryl groups for stabilizing a critical precursor structure, cyclopentadienone. This approach allows for elimination of multiple aromatic groups on the previous scaffolds and offers a handle for installing additional moieties for improving solubility.
