Background: Assisted vaginal birth is a lifesaving procedure where health workers use special devices to expedite birth vaginally when some complications emerge, such as due to prolonged labor. When the use of assisted vaginal birth is possible and appropriate, it provides benefits over cesarean section. These benefits include shorter recovery, reduced hospital stays, lower risks of complications, cost savings, and greater likelihood of vaginal birth in future pregnancies.

Brexpiprazole is a second-generation antipsychotic with multiple indications, including the treatment of schizophrenia. International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) consensus statement on training and testing in competitive alpine and freestyle skiers and snowboarders.

BMJ Open Sport Exerc Med

Amsterdam Collaboration on Health and Safety in Sports, IOC Research Centre for Prevention of Injury and Protection of Athlete Health, Department of Public and Occupational Health, Amsterdam Movement Sciences, Amsterdam UMC, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

To enhance performance, increase resilience and prevent injuries, training and testing (T&T) are the most important strategies for preparing athletes for the demands of their sport. However, for competitive snow sports such as alpine skiing, freestyle skiing and snowboarding, there is little evidence and a lack of international harmonisation of current best practices. This consensus statement, commissioned by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), aims to provide recommendations for the physical and psychological T&T of competitive alpine and freestyle skiers and snowboarders within National Ski and Snowboard Associations.

Eye Contact: To Teach or Not to Teach? That is Not the Question.

Perspect Behav Sci

September 2025

ABA Clinic, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, 40A Burgess Road, Southampton, SO16 7AH UK.

In recent years, the question has been raised as to whether teaching eye contact to autistic children is an ethically defensible educational objective. In the present article, I suggest that this question may be best answered by first defining contact with the eyes not as behavior, but as a consequence for the behavior of looking. Looking at people's faces, and in particular the eyes, provides information regarding the discriminative functions and reinforcing value of social stimuli, of people, of what they do, what they say, and what they feel, and is a critical part of all social behavior.

Snai2 is a transcription factor that inhibits the proliferation of cervical cancer cells and tumor growth. The expression of Snai2 inhibited the expression of β-catenin and impaired Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway activity. The results of the RNA sequence in Snai2-overexpressing cervical cancer cells implied a strong correlation between Snai2 and TRIM31 with ubiquitin ligase activity.
