Background: Myocardial infarctions (MI) significantly contribute to the global disease burden and are often followed by psychological conditions such as depression, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). These are frequently underrecognized and insufficiently addressed in clinical care. This study aims to investigate the psychosocial impact of MI, identify risk factors for psychological burden following an MI, and gain insight into the perceived psychological care during hospitalization.

Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate surgeons' ergonomic satisfaction when using laparoscopic energy devices and to investigate how prolonged use affects muscle fatigue and surgical performance.
Methods: A two-part study, including a survey and a kinesiologic experiment, was conducted to compare 4 laparoscopic energy devices (D1-D4). Thirty surgeons completed a structured survey assessing ergonomic factors such as device weight, grip strength, handle design, comfort, and trigger location.

Orthodontic-induced gingival enlargement (OIGE) affects approximately 15-30% of patients undergoing orthodontic treatment and remains largely unpredictable, often relying on subjective clinical assessments made after irreversible tissue changes have occurred. S100A4 is a well-characterized marker of activated fibroblasts involved in pathological tissue remodeling. This was a cross-sectional precision biomarker study that analyzed gingival tissue samples from three groups: healthy controls (n = 60), orthodontic patients without gingival enlargement (n = 31), and patients with clinically diagnosed OIGE (n = 61).

Long-term exposure to elevated radon levels in drinking water is associated with an increased risk of stomach and lung cancers. This study aims to assess the concentration of radon in groundwater and evaluate its potential health risks in six cancer-affected districts, i.
