Demyelination leads to neuropathies and clinical deficits. Chemical remyelinating agents have variable efficacy and severe undesirable effects. Withania somnifera and are traditionally known for possessing neuroprotective effects. The present study endeavors to reverse the demyelination using root extract () and leaf extract () liposomes prepared using thin-film hydration. The mean particle size (89.7 nm for , 85.5 nm for ), zeta potential (-0.21 mV for , +0.455 mV for ), and encapsulation efficiency (98.7% for , 97.5% for ) were recorded. FTIR analysis indicated similar absorption peaks between the crude extracts and nano-liposomal formulations, with slight shifts observed. Scanning electron microscopy confirmed smooth, spherical structures. To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of oral gavage of and in a cuprizone-induced demyelinated mice model, they were randomly divided into groups, namely Control (Healthy, Sham and Vehicle), (low and high dose), (low and high dose), crude extract (low and high dose) and Prednisolone. Treatment efficacy was assessed using behavioral tests (SHIRPA, Rota-rod, Hot-plate, NORT, and EPM), hematobiochemical, histology, and immunohistochemical analyses. The in high doses had significant improvement compared to others, highlighting its potential as a promising therapy for demyelinating neuropathies, paving the way for advancements in neurobiomedical science.

Objective: The cachexia index (CXI) demonstrates potential as both a diagnostic tool for cachexia and a prognostic tool for survival in cancer. However, CXI's predictive value has not been verified in cervical cancer. The purpose of this study is to investigate the prognostic value of the CXI in patients with cervical cancer treated with radiotherapy.

Background: Bridge preparation skills are a vital component of dental education and require specific techniques. This study aimed to develop and evaluate 3D printed teeth for use in defect-oriented bridge preparation and pre-prosthetic exercises in dental training, addressing the limited customization and lack of integrated workflows found in commercial typodont teeth. The null hypothesis stated that 3D printed teeth offered no advantage over established typodont training methods for bridge preparation.

Salmonella Typhimurium (S. Typhimurium) is one of the most common food-borne diseases, highlighted as the top food-borne bacterial pathogen in the world with a low infectious dose (1 CFU) and high mortality rate. It is commonly associated with numerous foods such as dairy products, protein sources (multiple types of meat, poultry, and eggs), and bakery products.

Palytoxin-like compounds, including ovatoxins, are potent emerging toxins responsible for human respiratory poisonings following inhalation of contaminated marine aerosols. Periodic massive proliferations of the ovatoxin-producing organism (Ostreopsis cf. ovata) worldwide, particularly in the Mediterranean, have caused severe toxic outbreaks, drawing the attention of health authorities.

Introduction: High intrarenal pressures (IRP) during mini-PCNL have been postulated to result in increased postoperative pain but no studies have evaluated this to our knowledge. We sought to determine if there is a correlation between IRP and immediate postoperative pain when using different tract sizes.
Methods: Patients were enrolled and assigned for standard (s-PCNL, 24fr), suctioning-mini (sm-PCNL, 16fr) and non-suctioning-mini (nsm-PCNL, 17.
