Aims: The estimated glucose disposal rate (eGDR) is a simple, non-invasive measure of insulin resistance. In this exploratory analysis of FINEARTS-HF, we evaluated whether lower eGDR, reflecting greater insulin resistance, is associated with adverse outcomes in heart failure (HF).
Methods And Results: The eGDR was calculated at baseline using waist circumference, glycated haemoglobin, and hypertension status.

This paper reports the expert opinions and recommendations made by primary care physicians (PCPs) to optimize screening and management of chronic kidney disease (CKD) associated with diabetes and presents algorithms to provide a practical and simplified guide for PCPs. Individuals living with type 2 diabetes (T2D) should be screened early and at regular intervals for CKD using both estimated glomerular filtration rate and urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio testing. The risk of CKD assessed using the Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes heatmap should be reviewed at least annually to optimize treatment to slow progression of CKD.

Background: Obesity is a core pathophysiological contributor to cardiovascular, kidney, and metabolic (CKM) conditions. However, the association between different adiposity-related anthropometrics and cardiovascular outcomes in persons with CKM conditions has not been rigorously explored.

Background And Aim: This study aimed to explore the effect and potential mechanism of mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) in vascular impairment in mice with metabolic disorders(obesity and hypertension).
Methods And Results: C57BL/6 mice were used in this study. D12492 were used to fed the mice for obesity for more than 4 months and AngII was used to induce hypertension.
