Objectives: This retrospective study evaluates alveolar bone remodeling patterns and their association with incisor displacement in adults undergoing clear aligner therapy with premolar extractions for Class II malocclusion correction.
Methods: Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans of 38 maxillary and 37 mandibular incisors were analyzed. Displacement vectors for four anatomical landmarks (cusp tip [C], root apex [R], root neck midpoint [M], labial cementoenamel junction [L]) were quantified.

Purpose: The liver-brain axis regulates metabolic homeostasis, with glucose metabolism playing a key role. Liver dysfunction, such as fibrosis, may impact brain metabolism and consequently, brain function. Positron emission tomography (PET) imaging provides a non-invasive approach to study glucose metabolism in both organs.

Purpose: A subset of adult spinal deformity (ASD) patients undergoing corrective surgery receive a disproportionate level of medical resources and incur greater costs. We examined the characteristics of such super-utilizers of health care resources among ASD patients.
Methods: This prospective, multicenter study analyzed data from ASD patients with > 4 levels of spinal fusion and a minimum 2-year follow-up.

Objective: To evaluate the quality of care provided to patients with febrile neutropenia (FN) hospitalized at the Depart-ment of Infectious Diseases, Military University Hospital Prague, as a foundation for improving the management of this condition.
Material And Methods: A retrospective observational analysis of patients diagnosed with the ICD-10 code D70 from 1 January 2015 to 1 June 2023. All evaluated parameters were selected primarily to facilitate the assessment of care quality and compliance with recommended practices.
