Article Abstract

F ENDOR is emerging as a powerful tool in structural biology for measuring distances in proteins labeled with F and a paramagnetic tag. Due to spin-spin relaxation and line width limitations, it has been difficult to determine intertag distances larger than about 15 Å. Using a set of geometrically well-defined rulers and spin-labeled proteins, we show that F-Gd distances up to 20 Å can be accessed by integrating the intensity of the ENDOR spectrum, with distances approaching 30 Å potentially in reach as well. This method is robust when the intensities are scaled to a known reference, and provides scope for nanometer-scale triangulation of the coordinates of a ligand in a protein-ligand complex.

Background: Labeo fimbriatus (Bloch, 1795) is a medium-sized South Asian minor carp with ecological significance and emerging aquaculture potential, particularly in polyculture systems with Indian major carps. Despite its wide distribution, it remains underrepresented in phylogenetic studies, and limited genomic resources are available. Here, we report the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of L.

The growing consumer interest in functional and health-oriented foods prompted the incorporation of tartary buckwheat sprout flour (TBSF) into food production. The addition of TBSF enhanced the nutritional value of noodles. Research has shown that as the proportion of TBSF increased, both the water absorption rate and thermal stability of the dough improved, while formation time decreased and dough aging was inhibited.

Background: Robot-assisted surgery has been widely adopted for the treatment of rectal cancer. Preoperative identification of difficult cases is essential, particularly for surgical training and operating room management. This study aimed to identify preoperative risk factors and develop a predictive scoring system for prolonged pelvic operation time in robot-assisted low anterior resection.
