Article Abstract

It is still a challenge to fabricate a smooth, high-quality perovskite film under ambient conditions via an inkjet printing process. Here, we report a systematic study of the fabrication of one-step inkjet-printed metal halide perovskite (IJP-MHP) films under ambient conditions. An inkjet-printed perovskite film with full surface coverage and large columnar grains was obtained through in situ heat treatment, self-vapor annealing (self-VA), and solvent engineering. An efficiency of 13.44% was achieved for the perovskite solar cell (PSC) with an architecture of FTO/IJP-SnO/IJP-MHP/IJP-spiro-OMeTAD/Au. Furthermore, an ink additive polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and antisolvent extraction treatment were carried out to retard perovskite nucleation and grain growth. Resulting perovskite films with improved film morphology and uniformity were obtained, although they delivered no competitive performance. Further optimization can be conducted to improve efficiency by careful selection of ink additives.

Coherent electron spin states within paramagnetic molecules hold significant potential for microscopic quantum sensing. However, all-optical coherence measurements amenable to high spatial and temporal resolution under ambient conditions remain a significant challenge. Here we conduct room-temperature, picosecond time-resolved Faraday ellipticity/rotation (TRFE/R) measurements of the electron spin decoherence time in [IrBr].

The effects of pressure on the crystal structure of scheelite-type perrhenates were studied using synchrotron powder X-ray diffraction and density-functional theory. At ambient conditions, the studied materials AgReO, KReO, and RbReO, exhibit a tetragonal scheelite-type crystal structure described by space group 4/. Under compression, a transition from scheelite-to-M'-fergusonite (space group 2/) was observed at 1.

Contactless human-machine interfaces (C-HMIs) are revolutionizing artificial intelligence (AI)-driven domains, yet face application limitations due to narrow sensing ranges, environmental fragility, and structural rigidity. To address these obstacles, we developed a flexible photonic C-HMI (Flex-PCI) using flexible visible-blind near-infrared organic photodetectors. In addition to its unprecedented performance across key metrics, including broad detection range (0.

A simple yet efficient method involving a visible-light-induced direct, regioselective chalcogenation of indoloquinoxaline derivatives has been developed. Thiols, disulfides and diselenides were found to be efficient as chalcogenating agents in the presence of Rose Bengal as a photosensitizer. This photoinduced C-H functionalization a cross-dehydrogenative-coupling (CDC) protocol was carried out at ambient temperature under an open-air atmosphere.

The construction of C─N bonds from simple precursors under ambient conditions is a fundamental challenge in green chemistry, especially when it comes to avoiding energy-intensive protocols. Here, we present a continuous flow photocatalytic platform that enables the efficient coupling of C─N bonds between methanol and ammonia at ambient temperature and pressure. By synergistically engineering a Pd clusters-decorated TiO photocatalyst (1Pd/TiO) and a mass transfer-enhanced gas-liquid-solid Taylor flow reactor, the system achieves a remarkable formamide productivity of 256.
