The damping performance of chlorinated butyl rubber (CIIR) is exceptional; however, its poor processability during vulcanization can lead to numerous defects. Natural rubber (NR) and ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber (EPDM) were selected to blend with CIIR for improving its processing performance. Their effects on the vulcanization characteristics, mechanical properties, and damping performance were investigated. Blending CIIR with NR can considerably increase the vulcanization speed of the rubber compound and improve production efficiency. The tensile strength of the vulcanizate first increases with an increase in the dosage of NR in NR/CIIR, and subsequently, it decreases before increasing again. The tensile strength first increases and then decreases with an increase in the EPDM dosage in EPDM/CIIR vulcanizate. The tensile strength increases by 15.6%when the EPDM dosage is 60 and 80 phr. EPDM and NR have similar effects on the damping performance of CIIR, which were evaluated by fitting the data of loss factor (∆) versus NR or EPDM dosage. Therefore, the quantity of NR or EPDM can be conveniently calculated based on performance requirements when designing the formula of the CIIR matrix materials.

Longitudinal vibration sandwich piezoelectric transducers with a stepped horn are widely used in high-intensity ultrasonic applications such as ultrasonic welding, ultrasonic machining, and ultrasonic cleaning. In these applications, due to the increased losses, transducers exhibit nonlinear phenomena such as heating, resonance frequency drift, and amplitude saturation. Consequently, existing linear theoretical models are no longer suitable for analyzing the nonlinear characteristics of such transducers.

In this paper, two conclusive three-party cyclic assisted cloning protocols in amplitude damping (AD) channel are put forward that, respectively clone three arbitrary unknown single-qubit states and single-qutrit states with the help of a state preparer. Each of our protocols includes three consecutive stages: quantum channel preparation, cyclic quantum teleportation (CQT), and multi-party assisted cloning. The first stage of each protocol proposes the detailed processes of sharing a pure entangled quantum state as a component of a quantum channel in AD channel via entanglement compensation.

To address the collaborative demand for low-frequency vibration control and energy recovery, this paper proposes a dual-functional structure integrating low-frequency vibration isolation and broadband energy harvesting. The structure consists of two core components: one is a quasi-zero stiffness (QZS) vibration isolation module composed of a linkage-horizontal spring (negative stiffness) and a vertical spring; the other is an energy-harvesting component with an array of parameter-differentiated piezoelectric cantilever beams. Aiming at the conflict between the structural dynamic stiffness approaching zero and broadening the effective working range, this paper establishes a dual-objective optimization function based on the Pareto principle on the basis of static analysis and uses the grid search method combined with actual working conditions to determine the optimal parameter combination.

This study investigates the performance of Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) for detecting gas pipeline leaks under controlled experimental conditions, using multiple fiber cable types deployed both internally and externally. A 21 m steel pipeline with a 1 m test section was configured to simulate leakage scenarios with varying leak sizes (¼", ½", ¾", and 1"), orientations (top, side, bottom), and flow velocities (2-18 m/s). Experiments were conducted under two installation conditions: a supported pipeline mounted on tripods, and a buried pipeline laid on the ground and covered with sand.
