A novel dual-mode sensing system integrating a magnetic core-shell CuFeO/Cu/MnO nanozyme with a stimuli-responsive agarose-deep eutectic solvent hydrogel (DES-Aga) is reported. The nanozyme exhibits exceptional oxidase-like activity, characterized by a low Michaelis constant (K = 0.14 mM) and high catalytic efficiency (V = 1.

Lactation-associated breast cancer poses diagnostic challenges due to physiological breast changes that may mask malignancies. Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) during lactation is rare and aggressive, requiring vigilant evaluation and treatment. This report highlights the diagnostic dilemma of recurrent cystic breast lesions during lactation, which can mimic benign conditions like galactoceles but may conceal aggressive TNBC, leading to potential delays in diagnosis despite initial conservative approaches such as aspiration.

The inhibition of dependent glutamine metabolism is an effective treatment for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) starvation, but it is limited by compensatory glycolysis and inadequate delivery efficiency. Herein, we construct a pH-responsive size/charge-reprogrammed micelle with hierarchical delivery characteristics for TNBC suppression with glutamine depletion and vessel blockade. It consists of a positively charged prodrug micelle chemically grafted with the glutamine transport inhibitor V9302 as the inner core layer, the neovascular disruptor CA4P adsorbed in the middle layer, and a pH-responsive peelable polymer as the outer shell.

Background: Failure to fail involves assigning passing grades to students who have not achieved course or clinical objectives at a satisfactory level. The literature has shown that this phenomenon occurs more frequently in the clinical setting due to several issues, including the increased subjectivity of clinical evaluation tools and processes, unclear policies, and lack of administrative support to fail students. The question remains: What is the thought process that is used by faculty to determine if a student passes or fails in a clinical experience?
Purpose: To explore the decision-making process used by pre-licensure clinical nursing faculty when they are determining whether to pass or fail an unsafe student enrolled in a clinical course.

Objective: To estimate the prevalence of knee structural pathologies that may warrant exclusion from disease-modifying osteoarthritis drug (DMOAD) trials, based on MRI versus radiography, among participants who would otherwise be considered eligible for enrollment based on commonly used radiographic inclusionary criteria.
Methods: We selected participants from the baseline visit of the Osteoarthritis Initiative that met radiographic structural and clinical eligibility criteria for a DMOAD clinical trial: Radiographic OA (Kellgren-Lawrence grade 2 or 3 with medial minimum joint space width ≥ 1.5 mm); and WOMAC knee pain score between 8 and 18 (0-20 scale).
