The timing of microbial inoculation is a decisive factor influencing both the efficiency and quality of green waste (GW) composting. This study evaluated the effects of applying a self-developed lignocellulose-degrading compound microbial inoculum at different composting phases (mesophilic, thermophilic, and cooling) compared to a commercial Effective Microorganisms agent. Thermophilic-phase inoculation (T2) was most effective by enhancing the complementary metabolic functions between strains, thus establishing an efficient lignocellulose degradation system.

Introduction: The world is in an era where healthcare professionals require training in soft skills to improve their caring ability. Regrettably, a concise compilation of nursing soft skills remains empirically unclassified.

Introduction: The emergence of highly virulent strains of the porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus has driven the need for new vaccines. This study evaluates the efficacy of an intranasal (IN) vaccine composed of a naturally attenuated PRRSV-2 isolate, compared to a commercially available intramuscularly administered (IM) PRRSV-1 vaccine, against a heterologous challenge with a highly virulent PRRSV-1 strain (R1).

Methods: Sixty-eight PRRSV-naïve pigs were divided into four groups: two non-vaccinated controls (NV/NCh, NV/Ch), one IM-vaccinated with a PRRSV-1 MLV (Por), and one intranasally (IN)-vaccinated with the PRRSV-2 vaccine (IL).

Advances in Gene Therapy Clinical Trials for Hemophilia Care.

Curr Gene Ther

September 2025

Centre for Research Impact & Outcome-Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Rajpura, Punjab 140401, India.

Gene therapy has revolutionized the therapeutic landscape for hemophilia A and B, offering the prospect for persistent endogenous production of coagulation factors VIII and IX. Recent advances in adeno-associated virus (AAV)-mediated gene transfer, particularly the approvals of valoctocogene roxaparvovec (Roctavian) and etranacogene dezaparvovec (Hemgenix), mark significant milestones in hemophilia care. This mini-review synthesizes emerging clinical data from phase I-III trials published between 2022 and 2025, emphasizing efficacy, durability, and immunogenicity profiles of leading AAV-based therapies.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) pathways offer distinct yet complementary approaches to nursing education and research that, when combined, can advance knowledge of nursing science among undergraduate students. Previous studies on DNP- and PhD-prepared nurse collaborations have focused on graduate students and faculty efforts to address practice needs together. However, there is minimal current literature that discusses this collaboration among undergraduate faculty.
