The electrohysterogram (EHG) is a type of electromyogram that measures potential changes produced by the smooth muscle of the uterus. Similar to the electrical activity of cardiac and skeletal muscle, EHG manifests as alterations in body surface potentials. It offers a less invasive alternative and is expected to identify preterm labor and abnormal deliveries. This study employs a large-area flexible electrode sheet to measure EHG signals from abdominal body surface potentials during delivery. The measured EHG signals, along with the labor stages determined through internal examination findings by the physician, are analyzed using a machine learning approach.

Conventional gelatin's gel-to-sol transition upon heating restricts its utility in biomedical applications that benefit from a gel state at physiological temperatures such as Pluronic F127 and poly(NIPAAm). Herein, we present "rev-Gelatin", a gelatin engineered with reverse thermo-responsive properties that undergoes a sol-to-gel transition as temperature rises from ambient to body temperature. Inspired by the phase dynamics of common materials like candy and ice cubes, whose surfaces soften or partially melt under warming, facilitating inter-object adhesion- rev-Gelatin leverages this concept to achieve fluidity at room temperature for easy injectability.

Hepatoid carcinoma of the ovary (HCO) is a highly uncommon and aggressive neoplasm originating from the surface epithelial cells of the ovary, characterized by hepatocyte-like differentiation. To date, most information on HCO is derived from case reports, with fewer than 50 documented cases globally. In this case report, we present a detailed account of the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of a patient diagnosed as having bilateral HCO, which is even rarer.

Background: Skin diseases affect a significant portion of the population, with potentially severe consequences on physical and psychosocial well-being. However, skin disorders are often overlooked in healthcare discussions and funding allocation, despite their substantial impact on patients' lives.
Aims And Objectives: The objective of this study was to investigate the psychosocial and psychiatric impact of chronic dermatological disorders among patients.

A 73-year-old male was admitted to our department with complaints of upper abdominal distension, accompanied by dull pain and belching for more than 10 days. Gastroscopy revealed a broad-based raised lesion, approximately 1.0 cm in diameter, on the anterior wall of the gastric body, with a central star-shaped depression, erosion, and surrounding congestion.

An optimal administration approach is critical for effective mRNA delivery and treatment. Nebulizer inhalation offers a mild, convenient, and noninvasive strategy with high translational potential but primarily focused on lung delivery. In this study, we found that surface charges influence tissue targeting of mRNA lipid nanoparticle (mRNA-LNP) postnebulization.
