Members of the B-Box (BBX) family of proteins play crucial roles in the growth and development of rice. Here, we identified a rice BBX protein, Oryza sativa BBX2 (OsBBX2), which exhibits the highest expression in the root. The transcription of follows a diurnal rhythm under photoperiodic conditions, peaking at dawn. Functional analysis revealed that possesses transcriptional repression activity. The was overexpressed in the rice japonica cultivar Longjing 11 (LJ11), in which and were non-functional or exhibited weak functionality. The overexpression of () resulted in a delayed heading date under a long-day (LD) condition, whereas the mutant exhibited flowering patterns similar to the wild type (WT). Additionally, transcripts of , , and were downregulated in the lines under the LD condition. interacted with (), and the double mutant displayed a late flowering phenotype comparable to that of . Furthermore, enhanced the transcriptional repression of through its interaction with , as demonstrated in the protoplast-based assay. Taken together, these findings suggest that the delays flowering by interacting with and co-repressing transcription.

The regulation of photoperiod and light intensity significantly affected Agastache rugosa by enhancing growth, modifying flowering dynamics, and promoting the accumulation of key phenolic compounds. Agastache rugosa is a medicinal and aromatic plant valued for its bioactive compounds, which contribute to its application in the flavoring, perfume, and food industries. However, variability in the composition of the bioactive compounds poses challenges for its commercial utilization.

The most commonly used rootstock, 'Carolina strongback' (Syngenta, Basel, Switzerland) flowers weeks later than commercial watermelon cultivars, which delays the onset of female flowering (DFF) of the scion, leading to an undesirable delay in fruit maturity and harvesting. Understanding the genetics of DFF in a population will facilitate the development of rootstocks with the early flowering habits preferred for commercial production.

Premise: Flower color polymorphism (FCP) is thought to be driven by multiple selection agents. Although widely associated with visual attraction of multiple pollinators, FCP is also often correlated with abiotic factors. We explored the links between abiotic conditions, flowering phenology, and FCP in the winter-flowering geophyte Anemone coronaria L.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to describe the imaging features on dynamic CT and MRI of a series of pathologically confirmed low-grade vascular neoplasia of the liver (LGVNL).
Materials And Methods: In this retrospective multicenter study, patients diagnosed with pathologically proven LGVNL between January 2014 and August 2024 and with cross-sectional imaging (CT or MRI) were included. Based on prior studies, we divided the patients into two groups: a group with typical LGVNL features and a group with atypical tumors.

Introduction: Phenology is a sensitive biological indicator of climate change. Increasing nitrogen (N) deposition has amplified phenological shifts, making their study across terrestrial ecosystems crucial for understanding global change responses. While existing research focuses on single ecosystems, comparative analyses are lacking.
