The development of antiviral nanotherapeutics remains a formidable challenge due to the structural diversity and rapid evolution of viral surface glycoconjugates. Here, we report a rationally engineered multivalent Galectin-1 (Gal-1) nanoplatform based on 13-nm gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) for high-affinity glycan targeting and therapeutic inhibition of influenza virus. By leveraging site-specific conjugation and molecular orientation control, the AuNP/Gal-1 nanocomplex maximizes the exposure of carbohydrate recognition domains (CRDs) while preserving Gal-1's tertiary structure, as confirmed by molecular dynamics simulations and spectroscopic analyses.

Introduction: Augmented reality (AR) telestration has the potential to completely transform surgical teaching and training. In contrast to traditional telestration and telestration without AR, this systematic review and meta-analysis attempted to thoroughly assess the effect of telestration with AR on a variety of performance metrics, including task completion time, error rates, GOALS task-specific scores, Objective Structured Assessments of Technical Skills (OSATS) task-specific scores, and Global Operative Assessment of Laparoscopic Skills (GOALS) global scores.

Methods: Six relevant publications were included after a thorough literature search was carried out on March 2024 across relevant databases.

Biodegradable biosensors represent a transformative advancement in sustainable sensing technology, offering an environmentally friendly and biocompatible alternative to traditional sensors. This review examines recent advancements, material innovations, degradation mechanisms, and application areas of biodegradable biosensors within the biomedical and environmental sectors. Natural and synthetic biodegradable polymers, such as chitosan, silk fibroin, alginate, PLA, PLGA, and PVA, are assessed for their functional contributions to sensing platforms.

Background And Aims: Digital addiction among youth, characterized by excessive and compulsive use of digital devices such as smartphones, computers, and social media platforms, has become a global concern. The present study aimed to investigate the association between digital addiction subtypes in youth and various health outcomes using "digital addiction" as an umbrella term.
