This dataset results from controlled experiments that assess the tolerance of spp. and grasses to nymphal and adult spittlebug damage, particularly from , which significantly impacts forage production in Neotropical regions. Data were collected under standardized conditions using high-throughput phenotyping methods, integrating image-capture techniques and analyses to ensure precise and consistent data acquisition. The dataset serves as a foundational resource for developing and validating computer vision models aimed at automated phenotyping, enabling accurate and high-throughput assessment of plant tolerance to spittlebug damage. Researchers can use the dataset to benchmark and compare different methodologies for plant damage assessment, fostering standardization and reproducibility in phenotyping studies.

Weeds represent increasingly troublesome threats to modern wheat production. Jiangsu Province, China, is one of the largest wheat-planting areas, characterized by a high level of agricultural mechanization, in the country. In 2024, we surveyed weed communities of 924 wheat lands from 308 sites in Jiangsu and compared them with historical data surveyed in 1999-2000 in this province.

A Wideband Integrated Bioaerosol Sensor (WIBS) was used in conjunction with chemical tracer analysis for the first time during the 2022-2023 grass pollen season in Melbourne, Australia. WIBS detected continuous levels of bioaerosol throughout the campaign. From 18th November to 7th December 2022, fluorescent particles accounted for an average of 10% of total particles in number, corresponding to an estimated 0.

To determine the acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase) inhibitors resistance and diversity of the target gene mutations in spp., we assessed the metamifop, cyhalofop-butyl, and fenoxaprop--ethyl resistance of 59 populations collected from rice fields in Jiangsu Province that were highly infested by spp. by the discriminating dose assays, and analyzed the gene mutations.

spp., a key grass species for the ecological restoration of alpine degraded grasslands on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, often suffers from pest damage during its flowering and seed maturation stages, severely limiting the effectiveness of ecological restoration and the sustainable utilization of germplasm resources. This study focused on nine widely distributed species of in the Three River Source Region of Qinghai Province, systematically investigated the structure of arthropod communities and the spatiotemporal dynamics of pests, and developed an integrated pest management (IPM) strategy.

Fumonisins, primarily produced by spp. and , are common contaminants in maize, cereal grains, and other processed and derived products, representing a significant risk to food safety and public health. This study presents the development and optimisation of a high-performance liquid chromatography method with fluorescence detection (HPLC-FLD) for the quantification of fumonisin B1 (FB1) and B2 (FB2) in various food matrices.
