Conformation traits are important in the selection and distinction between horse breeds, but tend to be evaluated subjectively within a breed and cannot be compared between them. The horse shape space model, using a combination of 253 landmarks and semi-landmarks, provides objective information on the shape of a horse photographed from the side that can be compared between breeds. In this dataset, we are providing the full set of 253 landmarks for 1241 horses from seven breeds, including an R code file to extract joint angle information and transform the raw data into csv files for further analysis, such as breed comparisons, heritability or genome-wide association studies (single- or multibreed). The repeatability of the joint angles are also reported.

Background: Coronal wedge insoles are commonly prescribed to mitigate musculoskeletal disorders, yet their static-standing kinematic and kinetic effects on lower extremity joints remain insufficiently understood.
Methods: This cross-sectional experimental study included 15 healthy older adults (mean 64.9 ± 6.

Aim: To assess the optimal fusion angle of the elbow to accommodate the activities of daily living.
Methods: The study enrolled 30 healthy adult volunteers (mean age 24 years), who performed 29 activities with an elbow brace fixed at various flexion angles (30°, 50°, 70°, 90°, 110°, 120°). The activities were divided into three groups: the activities of daily living, personal care and hygiene, and modern activities of daily living.

Hip osteoarthritis (OA) is an increasingly significant public health concern, contributing to substantial economic and societal burden worldwide. Emerging evidence suggests that running may promote cartilage health through optimal joint loading. However, it remains unclear how modifications to running posture, such as altering footstrike patterns or adjusting foot progression angles, affect hip contact forces (HCF).

Objective: Reveal the changing rule of the positional relationship between the uncinate process of cervical spine and vertebral artery by measuring the relevant parameters between the uncinate process of cervical spine and vertebral artery in different age groups.
Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 1240 cases of cervical spine imaging data from 2018 to 2021 in the Radiology Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University. The distance between the uncinate process superior ridge and vertebral artery and the maximum of pedicle transverse angle, the minimum of pedicle transverse angle, the range of pedicle transverse angle and the pedicle width were measured according to age groups.

It is unknown how knee osteoarthritis pain affects joint power distribution while cycling. The study purposes were to (1) investigate if seat height, workload and any difference in hip or knee extensor strength affected asymmetry of hip, knee and ankle joint power during cycling; and (2) determine the relationship between knee osteoarthritis pain asymmetry and joint power asymmetry at the hips, knees, ankles and total leg. Asymmetry was the difference between dominant and non-dominant legs.
