Endovascular therapy has emerged as an effective minimally invasive approach for treating peripheral artery disease (PAD). Postprocedural dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) is commonly used to prevent adverse events, but optimal management remains uncertain. This international, multicentre retrospective study synthesized data from three studies on covered stents (VIABAHN Endoprosthesis) in 437 PAD patients (2001-2015).

While tau pathology is closely associated with neurodegeneration in Alzheimer's disease (AD), our prior work using multi-modality imaging revealed that mismatch between tau (T) and neurodegeneration (N) may reflect contributions from non-AD processes. The medial temporal lobe (MTL), an early site of AD pathology, is also a common target of co-pathologies such as limbic-predominant age-related TDP-43 encephalopathy neuropathologic change (LATE-NC), often following an anterior-posterior atrophy gradient. Given the susceptibility of MTL to co-pathologies, here we explored T-N mismatch specifically within MTL using plasma ptau and MTL morphometry for identifying vulnerabilities and resilience in cognitively impaired or unimpaired AD patients.

The use of 3T MRI in patients with bilateral deep brain stimulation (DBS) leads is limited by safety concerns due to radiofrequency (RF) heating. A promising strategy to overcome this problem involves RF shimming using low-specific absorption rate (SAR) calibration scans to estimate the RF-induced currents based on image artifacts near the leads. Although clinically available two-channel RF shimming can suppress RF heating in a single lead configuration, complete nulling is not possible when more than one lead is involved.

: Skin cancer diagnosis faces critical challenges due to the visual similarity of lesions and dataset limitations. : This study introduces HybridSkinFormer, a robust deep learning model designed to classify skin lesions from both clinical and dermatoscopic images. The model employs a two-stage architecture: a multi-layer ConvNet for local feature extraction and a residual-learnable multi-head attention module for global context fusion.

A 28-year-old male with a relatively short history of progressive dyspnea and a large pericardial effusion with tamponade was found to have an intracardiac mass localized in right atrium (RA) on echocardiography. Multimodality imaging revealed an irregular mass abutting the lateral wall of RA, with infiltration into surrounding pericardium and superior venacava. Positron emission tomography (PET) scan confirmed the mass as metabolically active lesion, along with uptake in mediastinal structures and lymph nodes.
