Acrylamide (AAM), a compound extensively utilized in various industrial applications, has been reported to induce toxic effects across multiple tissues in living organisms. Despite its widespread use, the impact of AAM on ovarian function and the mechanisms underlying these effects remain poorly understood. Here, we established an AAM-exposed mouse toxicological model using 21 days of intragastric AAM administration. AAM exposure decreased ovarian coefficient and impaired follicle development. Further investigations revealed AAM would trigger apoptosis and disturb tricarboxylic acid cycle in ovarian tissue, thus affecting mitochondrial electron transport function. Moreover, AAM exposure decreased oocyte and embryo development potential, mechanically associated with pericentrin and phosphorylated Aurora A cluster failure, leading to meiotic spindle assembly defects. Collectively, these results suggest that AAM exposure may lead to apoptosis, glucose metabolic disorders, and mitochondrial dysfunction in ovary tissue, ultimately compromising oocyte quality.

While employing hydrogels as conductive interconnects in flexible electronics, two intrinsic challenges require comprehensive solutions: performance degradation resulting from water evaporation and functional instability caused by strain-induced resistance increase. Thus, we integrate hygroscopic lithium bromide (LiBr) directly into hydrogel polymerization and exploit its multifaceted characteristics to develop a conductive hydrogel with humidity-adaptive water retention and strain-insensitivity. The synthesis is guided by the idea of "less is more", characteristics of acrylamide monomers (Aam), the silane coupling agent, and LiBr are synergistically leveraged to architect a hierarchical network comprising a primary backbone and dual-dynamic crosslinking.

T cell receptors (TCRs) recognize peptides presented by polymorphic human leukocyte antigen (HLA) molecules, but HLA genotype data are often missing from TCR repertoire sequencing studies. To address this, we developed TCR2HLA, an open-source tool that infers HLA genotypes from TCRβ repertoires. Expanding on work linking public TRBV-CDR3 sequences to HLA genotypes, we incorporated "quasi-public" metaclonotypes - composed of rarer TCRβ sequences with shared amino acid features - enriched by HLA genotypes.

Reproductive characteristics, including age at menarche (AAM), age at natural menopause (ANM), and parity, may influence bone mineral density (BMD) in postmenopausal women through the duration of estrogen exposure and the regulation of calcium homeostasis. Current Fracture Risk Assessment Tool (FRAX) exclude these parameters, potentially limiting their accuracy in identifying high-risk individuals. This study aimed to investigate the associations between reproductive characteristics and the risk of osteoporosis, as well as the fracture probabilities derived from FRAX.

Insulin delivery plays a crucial role in diabetic treatment. Regular painless administration methods are not ideal for insulin delivery due to their insufficient bioavailability and inefficiency. In this study, dissolving microneedle array patches containing a thermosensitive insulin carrier P(NIPAm-AAm) microgel (MG) and the photothermal agent MXene were prepared with drug-protected protocols for near-infrared (NIR) light-controlled painless and minimally invasive insulin delivery.
