Contact dermatitis (CD), which includes both allergic CD and irritant CD, is a common inflammatory condition that can pose significant diagnostic challenges. Although patch testing is the gold standard for identifying causative allergens for allergic contact dermatitis (ACD), it is time-consuming, subjective, and requires expert interpretation. Recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), particularly in machine learning (ML) and deep learning, have shown promise in improving the accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility of CD diagnosis and management.

Objective: Cinnamon-induced contact stomatitis (CCS) is a hypersensitivity reaction associated with cinnamon-containing products (CCPs). We performed a retrospective study of 74 cases of CCS induced by chewing gums or candies and reviewed the literature.
Materials And Methods: This is a retrospective study of CCS cases, diagnosed during 2010-2025, characterised by temporal association of lesions with the consumption of cinnamon-containing chewing gums or candies; lesion's resolution after discontinuation of those CCPs; and absence of recurrence as long as those CCPs were not re-used.

Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is a preferred treatment option for many patients with severe aortic stenosis, but concerns exist regarding safety in patients with nickel allergy due to metallic valve frames. We report a series of 7 patients with a history of nickel allergy who underwent TAVR. Preprocedural allergy evaluation varied, including patch testing or direct skin contact with valve fragments.

Sinomenine hydrochloride is an alkaloid preparation commonly used in clinical practice in traditional Chinese medicine, and allergic reactions induced by occupational exposure to it are relatively rare in clinical settings. This article analyzes a case of allergic contact dermatitis in a medical worker after occupational exposure to sinomenine hydrochloride. The patient developed generalized skin rashes with the fingertips as the initial site three months after exposure to sinomenine hydrochloride.
