In clinical dentistry, addressing unique conditions such as tilted, elongated, and torsion teeth during preparation can be effectively managed through digital tooth morphology design. The production of a multi-stage 3D-printed guide offered a more efficient and accurate solution. This article presented a case of significant inclination, elongation, and torsion in the maxillary and mandibular canines that were successfully treated using crown restoration modification. A crown preparation guide was fabricated based on the final form design of the restoration using the target restorative space analysis technique to ensure precise tooth preparation. A tooth preparation guide was also designed and utilized further to enhance accuracy and efficiency during complex tooth preparation. The combined application of these multi-stage guides demonstrated promising clinical prospects.

Purpose: Crown preparation is a fundamental procedure in restorative dentistry. This study aimed to evaluate quantitative and color-coded assessment of tooth reduction using various 3D-printed tooth reduction guides in comparison to conventional guiding methods during crown preparation.
Methods: Twelve prosthodontic residents from a single prosthodontic graduate program (first year: n = 6; second year: n = 6) participated in this IRB-approved study (Yonsei University Dental Hospital IRB 2-2024-0026).

Purpose: Designing restorations remains challenging because the process is time-consuming and requires operator skill and experience. This clinical study evaluated the fit accuracy of polymerized complete crowns fabricated using a web-based 3D generative artificial intelligence design (GAID) method compared to crowns fabricated using a conventional computer-aided design (CCAD) method.
Materials And Methods: Sixty-two patients requiring complete crowns in maxillary and mandibular premolars and molars were enrolled.

Objective: To evaluate the impact of occlusion type and artificial intelligence-based computer-aided design (CAD) software on the geometric accuracy and clinical quality of auto-generated anterior and posterior crown designs.
Methods: Five typodont models representing various occlusion types (normal, Class I anterior diastema, Class II division 1, Class II division 2, and Class III anterior crossbite occlusion) underwent crown preparation for the maxillary right central incisor and first molar. Ten sets of intraoral scans were obtained from each prepared model, and crown designs were automatically generated using two software programs: deep learning-based (DL; Dentbird) and conventional automated (CA; Auto Workflow, 3Shape) (n = 10).

Aim: This article aims to introduce and elaborate on the innovative concept of Functional Endodontic Volume (FEV), a biologically driven approach to root canal shaping. This concept emphasizes the importance of volumetric preparation aimed at enhancing irrigation dynamics during root canal treatment, all while maintaining the tooth's structural integrity.
Summary: In recent years, contemporary endodontics has progressively shifted towards methods that prioritize irrigation-based disinfection.
