Presented herein is a series of chain compounds based on pre-designed heterometallic aluminum-lanthanide (Al-Ln) AlLn molecular rings. Their photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) with Eu (30.41%) and Tb (41.44%) is at a high level among the clusters containing four Ln ions. This study significantly extends the family of Al-Ln heterometallic clusters and demonstrates the synergistic effect of heterometallic ions in enhancing their properties.

Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy is a type of cellular immunotherapy showing promising clinical effectiveness and high precision. CAR‑T cells express membrane receptors with high specificity, which enable them to identify certain target antigens generated by cancerous cells. The three primary structural elements of the CAR are the extracellular domain, transmembrane domain and cytoplasmic domain.

The emergence of diseases attributable to foodborne pathogens poses a significant threat to human health. Pyrococcus furiosus Argonaute (PfAgo), a novel member of programmable nucleases, is repurposed for molecular detection owing to its programmable and sequence-specific nucleic acid cleaving capabilities. In this work, a triple cascade amplification strategy termed as PASS was developed for pathogenic bacteria biosensing.

Responsible data sharing in clinical research can enhance the transparency and reproducibility of research evidence, thereby increasing the overall value of research. Since 2024, more than 5,000 journals have adhered to the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) Data Sharing Statement (DSS) to promote data sharing. However, due to the significant effort required for data sharing and the scarcity of academic rewards, data availability in clinical research remains suboptimal.

The development of 4D-printed soft active material (SAM) with programmable shape transformations and multifunctional properties remains a critical challenge for soft active materials. In this study, a 4D-printed, dual-responsive SAM is designed by integrating a 4-arm star poly(N, N-dimethyl acrylamide)-block-poly(dimethyl amino ethyl methacrylate)-Br (4-arm star (PDMA-b-PDMAEMA)-Br) diblock copolymer with acrylic acid (AA), enabling precise shape morphing, tunable mechanical performance, and multi-stimuli responsiveness. The SAM demonstrated excellent 3D printing, enabling the fabrication of complex 3D architectures with pre-designed infill patterns.

Introduction: Half of people treated for hypertension are not controlled to target; clinician education may improve effective antihypertensive use.
Objectives: To systematically review and synthesise evidence from 2010 to 2024 on primary care clinician education interventions for improving blood pressure (BP) control in people on antihypertensive treatment.
Design: Systematic literature review.
