Background: Common cocaine-induced arrhythmias include tachyarrhythmias such as sinus tachycardia, supraventricular tachycardia, and atrial fibrillation. Most studies evaluating cocaine toxicosis in canines have been performed in an experimental setting, using intravenous administration of the drug. Though helpful, these studies cannot be directly extrapolated in a clinical setting given the different routes of administration.

Background: Opioid-free analgesia is critical in pediatric patients with complex comorbidities to avoid adverse effects, such as respiratory depression. Patients with tethered cord syndrome (TCS), often presenting with conditions like spina bifida, renal impairment, and musculoskeletal deformities, pose unique perioperative challenges that demand alternative pain management strategies.
Case: We present the case of an 11-year-old male with spina bifida and chronic kidney disease (CKD) undergoing tethered cord release surgery.

Optimal neuraxial anesthesia for cesarean delivery requires a thorough understanding of patient, obstetrical, surgical, and anesthesia-related factors which can impact pain during and after cesarean delivery. While not all cesarean deliveries are the same from an obstetrical standpoint, not all anesthetics provide the same degree of anesthetic blockade and postcesarean analgesia; therefore, context is crucial to provide patients with a safe and pain-free experience. Communication between obstetrical and anesthesia teams is key to ensure that the anesthetic approach is tailored to the clinical scenario, particularly if emergency cesarean delivery is needed, and follows best practices for cesarean delivery anesthesia.

The pumpkin-like supramolecular container Cucurbit[8]uril (CB8) is a promising drug carrier and detoxifier that stably coordinates a series of structurally diverse guests with high association constants. Its methylated form, Me4CB8, achieves better solubility yet maintains its biocompatibility, thus serving as a promising supramolecular container. Host-guest binding involving the methylated ring is difficult to model due to the lack of an accurate transferable force field and the complex binding-mode space when coordinating structurally complex abused drugs (e.
