A prospective cohort study investigated the effectiveness of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) infusion for refractory thin endometrium in 38 infertile patients. Patients showed significant improvement in endometrial thickness post-PRP injection, leading to successful implantation and pregnancy. The study revealed a negative correlation between antimullerian hormone (AMH) levels and the need for PRP interventions, suggesting higher ovarian reserve may reduce the necessity for repeated treatments. This implies AMH levels could serve as a prognostic indicator for treatment outcomes, aiding clinicians in optimizing protocols and reducing patient burden. Further research is needed to confirm these findings in larger and more diverse populations, along with exploring long-term reproductive success rates post-PRP treatment.

Background: Endometrial damage is a critical factor contributing to infertility, particularly in women with refractory thin endometrium or intrauterine adhesions. Therefore, developing innovative therapeutic strategies for endometrial regeneration is essential. This study evaluates the regenerative potential of endometrial stromal cell (EMSC) injection and EMSC-loaded patch application in a mouse model with ethanol-induced endometrial damage.

Dry eye disease (DED) is a multifactorial condition that significantly impairs patients' quality of life, particularly in its severe forms, which are often unresponsive to conventional therapies. In this retrospective study, we evaluated the long-term efficacy and safety of subconjunctival platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections in six Hispanic women with refractory DED. A total of eleven eyes were treated with a standardized protocol consisting of five PRP injections - three administered monthly, followed by two spaced two months apart - and followed for a period of 12 months.

The mechanical behavior and microstructural evolution of a BCC-phase NbTaTiV refractory multi-principal element alloy (RMPEA) is studied over a wide range of strain rates (10 to 10 s) and temperatures (room temperature to 850 °C). The mechanical property of present RMPEA shows less strain-rate dependence and strong resistance to softening at high temperatures. Under high strain-rate loading, the formation of thin type-I twins is observed, which could lead to an increase in strain-hardening rates.

Gorham-Stout disease (GSD) is a rare vascular disease of lymphatic origin characterized by progressive osteolysis that commonly causes chylothorax owing to the leakage of lymphatic fluid from dissolved bones. We report a case of refractory chylothorax that was diagnosed as elderly onset GSD and treated successfully using multidisciplinary approaches. A 78-year-old male presented with persistent cough and shortness of breath caused by massive left pleural effusion.
