Introduction: Glioma, a prevalent and deadly brain tumor, is marked by significant cellular heterogeneity and metabolic alterations. However, the comprehensive cell-of-origin and metabolic landscape in high-grade (Glioblastoma Multiforme, WHO grade IV) and low-grade (Oligoastrocytoma, WHO grade II) gliomas remains elusive.
Methods: In this study, we undertook single-cell transcriptome sequencing of these glioma grades to elucidate their cellular and metabolic distinctions.

Background: Autoimmune thyroid disease (AITD) is induced by various factors, including inheritability, which regulates gene expression. Multiple loci correlated with AITD have been discovered utilizing genome-wide association studies (GWASs). Nevertheless, demonstrating the biological relevance and function of these genetic loci is difficult.

Aims: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is associated with altered cAMP/PKA signaling and an AF-promoting reduction of L-type Ca2+-current (ICa,L), the mechanisms of which are poorly understood. Cyclic-nucleotide phosphodiesterases (PDEs) degrade cAMP and regulate PKA-dependent phosphorylation of key calcium-handling proteins, including the ICa,L-carrying Cav1.2α1C subunit.

Background: Several disease-causing genes have been implicated in Carney complex (CNC), including , (Phosphodiesterase 8B),and (Phosphodiesterase 11A). The purpose of this study was to describe the clinical features of CNC in a Chinese patient and identify potential pathogenic mutations.
Methods: Genomic DNA was extracted from the peripheral venous blood obtained from one Chinese CNC family from Shandong province.
