Background: Hypospadias is one of the most common congenital defects of male external genitalia. Correction of severe ventral curvature remains a main challenge to surgeons. The aim of this work was to assess short term outcomes of the staged tubularized preputial graft in primary proximal hypospadias with severe ventral curvature in our center with the hypothesis that it's comparable to published results in the two stage repair technique.

The objective of this study was to summarize and review literature on treatment methods for stenoses of the posterior urethra. Stenosis of the posterior urethra, particularly of a bladder neck stenosis (BNS) or vesicourethral anastomotic stenosis (VUAS), presents significant clinical challenges, in part owing to the heterogeneity of the patient population and additionally secondary to morbidity of historic definitive treatments. Traditionally, this disease process has been preferentially managed with endoscopic interventions in the form of direct vision internal urethrotomy or dilation, with or without injectables, with variable success rates ranging from 40.

Background: Pediatric lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) are common in school-age children. Urotherapy (UT), the first-line treatment involving education on behavioral changes, is typically delivered through in-person 1:1 clinic visits, which can limit access and strain clinic resources. Although novel formats such as group classes and self-paced videos show comparable efficacy to standard UT, their adoption remains limited by a lack of understanding provider acceptability and operational feasibility.

Minimally invasive surgical approaches pose challenges for patients with large renal masses (≥7 cm), prompting many urologists to opt for open radical nephrectomy. However, open surgery is associated with higher morbidity due to prolonged visceral exposure and increased intraoperative bleeding.

Aim: Although penile fracture is a rare condition, the damage it may cause afterwards is challenging for patients. We aimed to investigate the relationship between late presentation to the hospital and the frequency of erectile dysfunction (ED) in patients with penile fractures.
Methods: In our cross-sectional, retrospective study, the frequency and severity of ED were calculated according to the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) scoring in patients with penile fracture admitted to Dicle University Hospital in the inter-operative period between the event and the operation and the subsequent controls.
