Nasal cytology is evolving into a promising tool for diagnosing neurological and psychiatric disorders, especially those such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. Moreover, recent research has indicated that biomarkers differ greatly between samples taken before and after death. Nasal cytology might help to identify the early stages of cognitive decline.

Introduction: Telemedicine, also known as e-health, utilizes computer technology to deliver clinical healthcare remotely. Since its inception in the 1960s, telemedicine has evolved significantly, offering several advantages to both patients and healthcare providers, including remote care and monitoring. This study contributes to existing literature by exploring the effectiveness of telemedicine and patient satisfaction in managing health conditions in Canada, with a focus on service delivery, accessibility, efficiency, doctor-patient relationships, and network interconnectivity.

Background: Telemedicine has become an important mechanism for delivering health care in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. While some medical subspecialties were able to rapidly integrate telecare into their workflow, ophthalmology is one field in which telemedicine has not been as widely adopted. In this systematic review, we analyze published studies assessing patient and provider viewpoints on telemedicine for eye care.

Introduction: Adolescent sexual and reproductive health in low- and middle-income countries is critical to address following the COVID-19 pandemic. Growing evidence of its' impact includes increased teenage pregnancies and higher rates of unsafe abortion.
