Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging is an established non-invasive tool for the assessment of cardiovascular diseases, which are the leading cause of death globally. CMR provides dynamic and static multi-contrast and multi-parametric images, including cine for functional evaluation, contrast-enhanced imaging and parametric mapping for tissue characterization, and MR angiography for the assessment of the aortic, coronary and pulmonary circulation. However, clinical CMR imaging sequences still have some limitations such as the requirement for multiple breath-holds, incomplete spatial coverage, complex planning and acquisition, low scan efficiency and long scan times.

Gastrosplenic fistula is a rare complication, most often secondary to gastric or splenic lymphoma. Severe gastrosplenic fistula can cause life-threatening upper gastrointestinal bleeding, making early diagnosis and intervention critical for a favorable prognosis. Currently, surgical intervention remains the primary treatment; however, outcomes are often suboptimal.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the impact of temporal resolution on pharmacokinetic parameters and the performance in diagnosing breast cancer.
Methods: This prospective study included 89 consecutive patients with 97 lesions (76 malignant and 21 benign). Ultrafast dynamic contrast-enhanced (UF-DCE) imaging was performed on a 3-T MRI scanner using CAIPIRINHA-Dixon-TWIST-VIBE (CDTV) with a native temporal resolution of 4.

Background: Thymolipoma is a rare benign anterior mediastinal tumour composed of thymic and adipose tissue, accounting for only 2-9% of thymic neoplasms (Mohamud et al., J Surg Case Rep 2020,2020; Shrivastava and Ntiamoah, Radiol Case Rep 15:1538-1540, 2020). Patients are often asymptomatic, and these masses are often detected incidentally.
