The aim of this study was to carry out a descriptive analysis of the main performance variables of national teams that competed in the Men's (Germany-Denmark 2019) and Women's (Germany 2017) senior handball World Cups, and to compare the spatial offensive performance indices of laterality and depth according to the gender of players, considering for this purpose the total number of throws made according to the finishing area. A documentary study was carried out based on the total number of throws made in 192 male and 154 female games of 48 national teams belonging to 33 countries, which participated in previous World Cups. The data were collected from the International Handball Federation (IHF) statistics. The results showed that the areas from which the highest number of shots were taken in both World Cups were the central and shallow areas of the field. Several gender differences were observed. More specifically, male teams made much more attempts from the left side area than female teams (data), who finished from the right side (data). The depth index reflected that, although the dominant execution by gender was from deep offensive zones, men's teams finished more often from the 1 offensive line, while female teams finished from the 2 offensive line. This information will be useful for coaches in designing training tasks and for players in improving decision making.

Introduction: The cerebellum has traditionally been found to be the only coordinator of motor functions, however, recent studies have shown that the cerebellum also has a role in cognitive and affective processing. CCAS is characterized by impaired executive functions, visual-spatial disorganization, emotional dysregulation, changes in personality and language deficits. The cognitive and affective symptoms that make up the CCAS have been attributed to disorders of the cerebral hemispheres, specifically in association areas and paralimbic regions.

In modern days, increasing weapon-related threats in public places have created an immediate need for intelligent surveillance systems to detect crime in real-time. Traditional surveillance systems have struggles with recognizing small objects, occlusion, and the time it takes to respond, which makes them ineffective in crowded and fast-changing situations. To overcome these challenges, the suggested system combines closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance cameras with advanced deep learning methods, image processing, and computer vision techniques for real-time crime prediction and prevention.

This study investigated the impact of situational factors (team quality, match outcomes, and match location) on pitch-passing networks in the English Premier League. We analysed 295,901 possessions across 380 matches using a 7 × 7 grid system. For each pitch-passing network we calculated the degree centrality, the closeness centrality, and the betweenness centrality.

Fatality resulting from violent conflicts poses a critical public health challenge in Nigeria, straining healthcare systems, disrupting resource allocation, and necessitating targeted interventions to curb the prevalence and strengthen community resilience. According to the Global Organized Crime and Terrorism Indices, Nigeria is ranked among the top countries most impacted by terrorism in 2020. Despite numerous studies on crimes in Nigeria, adequate attention has not been given to quantifying the patterns of fatalities due to conflict events.
